What's In The Bag - 5 minutes freewrite
In the early hours of the day, while people were going to work and children were going to school, an abandoned black bag lay behind one of the benches in the street, and this brought curiosity to the hearts of the passersby as they wondered what was in the bag, but none had the heart to go close to it.
As a young man named Thomas was passing by, he saw how everyone was curious to know what was inside, but none dared go close to the mysterious black bag. He moved close to it with his heart pounding fast and his hands trembling. He picked the bag up and unzipped it with anticipation.
Inside the bag, he found baby belongings, a wallet, and a journal that might belong to a woman. He picked up the wallet, opened it, checked one of the identification cards, and saw a personal phone number. He called the number on it.
The lady on the phone was glad by the call, as it happened that she couldn't remember the exact location where she left the bag the day she went out as she was in a rush to go to the market and also picked up her toddler from school.
He promised the woman to return the bag to her and told the curious passerby what was inside the bag and about his conversation with the lady.
