Let's go, guys, there's still time to post in this week's Battle Mage Secret!
12 pm CDT is 2 pm Brasília time...

The rule of the week is equalizer, in case you don't know:

Rule: Equalizer
Description:All unit start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team. Buffs and debuffs are done afterward - this impacts base health.

As I commented in the previous post, I didn't get any victories with Equalizer this week, so I'm bringing my defeats, that's the way it is.

This time, I was surprised by a platoon of shielded ants, which resisted a lot and gave the victory to the opposing team. Check out this match:

I chose Kelya Frendul as summoner, believing in the strategic buffs she would give us, especially the increase in attack speed, which would make my flying Ice Pixie harder to hit. I put Hardy Stonefish on the frontline, the martyr Venari Marksrat between these two units, Xenith Archer and Argarux Magus. A cheap, relatively aggressive team, but without great abilities. My confidence is in the Ice Pixie and the buffs it will receive.

@movingup came with Tarsa, gaining advantage in Equalizer, plus the increase in melee, and a formidable melee team: Antoid Platoon on the frontline, which will resist many of my attacks with its Shield, Radiated Scorcher attacking when the ants fall, Serpentine Spy attacking my weakest unit, and Uraeus targeting the backline.

Activated Abilities

Our armor will be a good resistance against melee opponents, and the increase in attack speed gave us some advantage. On the opposing side, +1 Health for everyone, and melee damage increased by 1. Let's see how the match unfolds.

Round 2

Only my magic monsters will be able to take down Antoid Platoon. It would be nice if Argarux Magus could hit its random shot on the ants, right? But that's not going to happen...

Round 3

We lost the frontline, Marksrat is in the frontline to be sacrificed for the benefit of Ice Pixie, our star in this team.

Round 4

The opponent keeps attacking our backline, our martyr remains alive on the frontline (die, you bastard! 😁), and the ant platoon bravely resisting...

Round 5

Finally Marksrat gives its buff to our Ice Pixie, while the opposing team remains practically intact, will we get the victory? You already know we won't, right, but follow through to the end...

Round 6

We finally take down the ants, but it's too late... Ice Pixie still dodges several attacks, but ends up succumbing to an attack from Uraeus, see for yourselves. I swore she would be taken down by Serpentine Spy.

And it's over

GGWP

@movingup did well in this match, thanks to the SPS boost and his GF cards. Remember to keep a good reserve of stacked SPS, guys, if you want a reasonable amount of chests. x10 seems like a minimum to me, from there to more!

And this was another battle secret from the wizard pablito: Shield can be fatal in low mana matches, making your unit virtually indestructible.

round 5

round 6
