For the first time in my Splinterlands journey, which began in April 2023, I managed to win ALL MATCHES of my Fray, the 11 - Wild Gold - which is where I also play ranked.

Match 2

This match was tense. Very little mana; Even Stevens is a tricky rule, I always need to check the available monsters. If Fire were available, I'd probably choose Tarsa. But among the options, I believed that Kelya would give me the best cost-benefit, giving more Armor and Speed, hoping that Cocatrice would evade a lot of damage, and trusting in the power of Doctor Blight, who was the MVP of the match, facing a 3x1 situation at the end with great success.

Since only magical monsters were enabled, I chose Thaddius Brood as my summoner (he also provides an interesting advantage when Equalizer is one of the rules), and with 59 mana, I selected the best monsters (highest damage and speed) for my team. Match 4

Reverse Speed is one of my favorite rules, offering the opportunity to use cards like Spineback Turtle and Sand Worm (I have a level 3 GF rented for 1.077 DEC/day, love the chance to use it), and I think @flaxion didn't pay attention to the ruleset in this match, choosing Kelya as their summoner... Especially with Born Again as the rule, Doctor Blight's Scavenger shined, making it an incredibly healthy monster.

We only lost the chicken - it was there for that purpose - and look at this Dr. Blight 3/1/17

Match 5

In this match, summoners didn't add anything, and healing or life bonuses didn't work, so Close Range inspired me to use 2 ranged monsters that would provide a good bonus for the team: Crustacian King giving +2 Armor (though it lost its tank heal, it would have been much stronger in the match) and Pirate Captain buffing the melee attack of the other Snipers I placed, targeting the opponent's backline with strenght!

Usually, I'm a Fire player, Tarsa is my favorite summoner, very aggressive and with good life support. But I've been playing a lot of Water recently, Alric and Kelya are both great summoners, and I also enjoying Possibilus the Wise.
This brawl is an example of that: out of the 5 matches, I played 4 with Water and one with Death because Thadius Brood stood out in the ruleset.

It was an exceptional week, my brawls are usually inconsistent, with a mediocre performance fluctuating between positive and negative. Let's see how my performance goes in the next one. Will Water continue to grant me big victories?

Main Água nadando em vitórias na Brawl desta semana

Pela primeira vez na minha vida de splinterlander, iniciada em abril de 2023, consegui vencer TODAS AS PARTIDAS da minha Fray, a 11 - Wild Gold - que é onde jogo rankeada também.

Abusei de Water e Doctor Blight, uma combinação que costuma dar muito certo, só vem pra ver como foi:

Partida 1

Nessa primeira partida, uma mirror de Alrics, investi pesado em dano mágico, em fortalecer meus monstros com vida (Sea Genie) e armadura (Venari Wavesmith), e em Blast. Aproveitando que meu Riverboat Captain alcançou nível 4 recentemente, o aliei ao roubadíssimo Ruler of the Seas, botei a voadora Runemancer Kye na frontline (já que os monstros perderam Sneak, Snipe e Opportunity com o Fog of War), e Doctor Blight na retaguarda.

O adversário veio com uma estratégia semelhante, mas com Sea Monster na frontline, e gastou 9 mana num gladiador bem questionável, duas cartas melee que não combinaram bem na estratégia dele.

Resultado: vitória sem baixas do nosso lado.

Essa partida foi tensa. Muito pouca mana; Even Estevens é uma regra complicada, sempre preciso verificar os monstros disponível, se Fogo estivesse liberado provavelmente eu iria de Tarsa, mas, dentre as opções, acreditei que Kelya me traria o melhor custo x benefício, apostando em mais Armadura e Velocidade, esperando que Cocatrice evitasse muito dano com sua evasão, e confiando no poder de Doctor Blight, que foi o MVP da partida, enfrentando um 3x1 no final com muito sucesso.

Tendo ainda Born Again como regra, Scavenger de Doctor Blight brilhou, e ficou um monstro muito absurdo.

Partida 5

Nessa os invocadores não acrescentavam em nada, e cura ou bônus de vida não funcionavam, então o Close Range me inspirou a utilizar 2 rangeds, que trariam um bom bônus pra equipe: Crustacian King dando +2 de Armadura (apesar de ter perdido seu tank heal, daí teria sido muito mais forte na partida) e Pirate Captain bufando o ataque melee dos outros Snipers que coloquei, alvejando a backline adversária com força!

Mais uma vitória sem baixas do nosso lado. Quem ama, cuida 😉.

Usualmente, sou um jogador de fogo, Tarsa é minha invocadora favorita, muito agressiva e com um bom suporte de vida. Mas tenho jogado muito de Água recentemente, Alric e Kelya são dois invocadores muito bons, e também curto Possibilus the Wise.
Essa brawl é um exemplo disso: das 5 partidas, 4 joguei com Água, e uma com Morte pq Thadius Brood se destacava no ruleset.

Foi uma semana muito fora da curva, minhas bralws são muito inconstantes, com um desempenho mediano oscilando entre o positivo e o negativo. Vamos ver como sai meu desempenho na próxima. Será que Water vai seguir me dando grandes vitórias?
