since i see the actual promise of democracy played on on these blockchains it is super interesting to me what you have in mind.
the common problems in democracies remain that the majority can rule over the individual, but it is so much better to get involved while icp is still a sleeping giant, rather than later when all the stake has been thoroughly centralized.
if the majority were awake and voting their conscience and discernment rather than their untested blind beliefs, i thik the system would be a lot freer for all involved.
meeting you guys on hive simply proves my point.

Brother. i have lots to say, having read your convo's with @valued-customer, but for now:
suggest you use a FOSS password manager (Bitwarden is very good) so you always have all your passwords, keys etc. with you, even if you don't have your own device with you.

Might you be interested in helping me to create a slide show presentation (perhaps four of us @amaterasusolar @valued-customer ,you and i). It would involve learning the components of the system design (and refining as we discuss) until we agree we have a presentation which we all understand, and is concise enough be be understandable and evokes a desire to join the project. Our initial niche target fir the presentation is for "WASP's" (Wise And Savvy People); an initial core of genesis members (50 -100 peeps - enough to test the consensus mechanism).
I have no information regarding ASFD. What is it?
It's basically #ADFD is an acronym for a new type of Open Source Governance. The design in my mind is based on #Matrix8, #Fractally and more.

As I wrote, since the topic of governance is in the air I would gladly take a look and give my view on it. I can offer graphic design and or slideshow creation. Aesthetics are rather essential to me in presentations, the best content usually gets lost if its quality isn't likewise transported in the medium itself. If medium and content do not align I am usually turned off because I see that - usually - materialist fanatics have forced something content related without any understanding for the significance of context, which I am not interested in joining.
It seems like a lot of brainstorming and learning has to come long before finishing a slideshow. Keep me posted! Oh and the link you shared doesn't work anymore, it simply states "snap container post"? But I will read up on some things you shared in that collection post from a few days ago.

I do not want to be ruled by a clueless mob that cheers for their chosen farmer as tax cattle.
What we need is voluntarist communities, which each and every autocrat chooses to participate in by their consent to the mechanisms thereof. ICP has some interesting features, but so does fiat currency. We should be looking to create what it is we actually want, not to piggyback onto something that farmers have made available for tax cattle to fatten up in.
Atma's system is not known to me presently, as our previous discussions involved a different system. However, it is necessary to sovereign people to retain their sovereignty, and I hope Atma's system enables this. If it doesn't I will be unable to adopt it, as I cannot discard my sovereignty. It's not even a matter of whether I want to or not. I am inherently incapable of discarding my sovereignty, and have suffered indescribably from attempting to do so.
It is a fact of existence that people vary in their understanding, and some people are just as incapable of sovereignty as I am of discarding sovereignty. Some people are children, and I mean are literally children, today. A reasonable community will accommodate everyone, from children who are necessarily ruled to autocrats that cannot be ruled.
Let's make that.

the democracy and majority rule aspect is always the downfall of any governance system and icp runs under such a model ultimately. even if it is at network level, the majority stakeholders of the network could collude to take you down. but then amazon can just do it on their own today unless we have our own server running and the infrastructure doesn't get in the way.
seems like we need some engineers cause that is not my forte at all ahaha.
