Been a while since I've joined this challenge, but the kitty deserves a spotlight for sure!

My only regret on this card, is not having it maxed! Mine is only level 5, and since I normally reach diamond league, I tend to rent a maxed one. This is one of the cards present since Alpha edition that is still incredibly useful today, and one that I tend to use frequently.

It only has one skill, Sneak, but with these stats, you don't need anything else:

  • only 3 mana
  • starts with 4 speed, reaches 7 at level 9; level 10 makes him lose one speed point, but gain a melee point
  • 4 melee at max level, and 5 HP, a decent health for a low mana card.

It's one of the fastest sneakers in game! Pair it with more sneakers (and life splinter has some good ones), and a melee boost, and you have a killing machine to the opponent's rear monsters! I tend to use him a lot in low mana matches, especially paired with Silvershield Assassin. Do you want to see an example?

Rulesets:

  • Silenced summoners: no buffs or debuffs from summoners
  • Broken arrows: no ranged attackers on the battlefield

Since only melee and magic were allowed, and the game has a low mana cap, it's a perfect ruleset for the sneakers. My lineup:

  • Lord Arianthus: perfect tank here, thorns for the melee and reflect for the magic
  • Silvershield knight: offtank, but especially for the +1 melee bost
  • Truthspeaker: this is an awesome card at max level! Protect to all team, and cleanse and tank heal. Cleanse ability is more and more needed, with the amount of cards with poison and affliction
  • Silvershield assassin: strong sneaker with poison
  • Feral spirit: our little killing machine
  • Furious chicken: cannon fodder

The opponent had a line up to strike in all directions, with snipe and sneak monsters, and damn Doctor Blight in the back.

Spirit Miners's blind made me miss a few strikes; fortunately, in this case slow played in my advantage: since truthspeaker would go after doctor blight, it could cleanse any debuffs on the tank before the next round.

In the second round, the cat didn't missed, and less one monster on the battlefield.

The low HP of the dwarf and creeping ooze made them easy target for my fast sneakers: feral spirit with 5 melee and assassin with 2 x 4 melee create chaos easily. And at the start of the 4th round, only almo cambio and doctor blight remained, against my 4 cards. From here, the battle was won! You can see the whole mayhem here!

How about you? Is the feral spirit one of your favourites too?

See you on the battlefield! 😉
