My Cards Page becomes lightning fast!

If you haven't checked out your PeakMonsters My Cards page yet, this is the perfect time to do so! We have recently pushed an update to significantly improve the experience when viewing collections in the PeakMonsters platform. The huge boost in performance is much more noticeable when viewing large collections, but you will also notice the difference even for relatively smaller collections!

Note: We have included a quick summary of the My Cards Page update in our recent PeakMonsters updates post. To see the list of updates in the past month, check out this post.

My Cards Page Performance BEFORE and AFTER Update

To have a better view of the improvements in the My Cards page, we did a side by side comparison video wherein we did the exact same steps for the before and after update versions of the platform. This test was done in viewing an account that has 12K+ Splinterlands cards in their collection. You will love the results!

My Cards page performance before and after update

Steps done in the video:

  1. Refreshed the page
  2. Applied all Rarity filters in the following order: Legendary, Epic, Rare,Common
  3. Applied two Edition filters: Reward, Untamed
  4. Applied Gold foil filter

As you can see on the left part of the video, the My Cards page before the update has a noticeable delay before the filters were applied. While on the after update video, you can see the almost instantaneous response when applying filters.

Duration
On the 7 filters and page refresh recording done, the Before Update page took 41 seconds to accomplish all the steps, while the current My Cards page only needed 19 seconds to finish all these. That is a huge time saver, especially on a page that you will navigate regularly!

What do PeakMonsters users think about the update?

While we love the results that we saw on our test, the much more important part is if the platform users have noticed a difference -- and if they also loved the update.

Here is what they are saying in discord and twitter:

Looks like it was not only us who loved the update!

It could notify what card was revoked and also the name of the bastard.
That would help.

I noticed that Peakmonsters was way faster! I even tested out opening "230060 more cards" and it took 30 seconds! The last time I did this, my browser crashed on me lol Whatever you all did, it's amazing!
