A new way to view the growth of Splinterlands - Important Stats
We will soon be releasing this small update to the "Top Holders" page which some call the Rich List
You can view these stats already on https://beta.peakmonsters.com/richlist
172k users with cards
If you look at the total sum of players with DEC you can infer that there are 172k people that have cards
325k users who have played to earn
Those holding DEC are likely the ones who have played with a spellbook
However there may be some who have DEC for other reasons but it's still a really good metric
3K users who are playing in Brawls
I'm pretty sure almost every guild player earns at least 1 merit so this number reflects how many people are playing in guilds these last couple of weeks
93k users who are interested in the advanced economics of Splinterlands
Seems like it would be a lot more than 93k because of all those who have DEC and are earning SPS because of that but maybe they've just never claimed their SPS or they sold it already... in either case seems like it's still a correct statement that 93k accounts care about the advanced economics of Splinterlands
Do you think these stats are the most valuable ones? What stats would you choose from the Top Holders to identify the health of Splinterlands?
The dashboard stats are of course still very important
And completing their frays. There are probably more players wanting to play in frays / battles, but they can't due to their arena not being high enough level for all the members of the guild to have a fray :P
How about the number of players who have some number of SPS staked?
What about the number of accounts participating in liquitidy pools for advanced ++ ? :)

The total 63k isn't an improvement I noticed on the page. That's awesome. I can go snoop at so many other things now! :)
Edit: Oh, that's not something visible on my instance of peakmonsters. Is it available on the staging site, or a dev only function to limit calls on your API / infrastructure?

You only earn merits once you have a Level 2 Store. So there are a lot more than 3k people playing brawls.

yeah good point. so there are likely more that are playing in brawls. So we'll see that number grow and that will be an interesting growth number to watch

This is a great presentation of the players' activities on Splinterlands. I didn't know about this feature on peakmonsters. The coming upgrade in the game will intensify the competition. As result, these statistics will soar soon.
