Newbies Guide: How to Gift your Splinterlands Card NFTs to Friends

Hello friends, compliments of the day. I am happy to be alive today and hearty. I trust you are doing fine too.

I am here again to share with my fellow starters on how to carry out some tasks on the Splinterlands game. As I share with you the few things I learn, I also grow in my knowledge.

Always remember that the best way to learn is by teaching others. I have tried my best to make several guide posts for newbies based on activities I have personally successfully carried out. Some are:

Last week, I wrote a post on how I have become a Proud Owner of 3 rare, 2 Common Cards Splinterlands NFT after opening my Riftwatchers pack. All along, I thought that owning NFTs in your splinterlands wallet was by buying them. Thank you @borsengelaber6 who read that post and decided to gift me 15 Cards.

I have not met @borsengelaber64 anywhere until he replied to this post. I then knew that I can also gift my cards to other friends. I just did to @Isaacngore and I hope this will motivate him to start his splinterlands game journey. Thank you @borsengelaber64 once again.

This guide is typically for a new user with no prior knowledge on Splinerlands or other card games. It is intended to show How to Gift your Splinterlands Card NFTs to Friends.

Let's go!

1. Go to your Cards collections.

Simply follow this link. Substitute my username for yours. Choose "owned cards". That is the only set you can gift.

2. Select the Card you wish to Gift in the collection.

It will open a new page with details about the card alone. Observe part 1 of my screenshot below. The circled icons are darkened. You have to select the square box just by the card design to make the icons come alive. See part 2 of the screenshot.

3 Click the Flight (send) icon

It will open a dialogue box as shown below. You can type in the username you want to gift the NFT to. I am gifting @Isaacngore.

Note that you can also send the NFT to other blockchains like Ethereum and WAX. I know nothing about them.

4. Fill your active keys\ or user hive keychain to confirm the transaction

5. Refresh your page

You will discover that the card is no more in your collection. It has been sent to the beneficiary.

You're done. It takes not more than 2 minutes, Yours can be faster or slower depending on your internet.

I have no idea on the future of the worth of the cards. I am no expert. You can find such posts in the #splinterlands tag from more experienced players. My intention is just to give a simple guide for a newbie to also take some significant steps here.
