What is the Future of GLX?

I've had many things in my mind to share with my newbie friends about the splinterlands game. Surely, I can't write about all at a time. I've got to share this very important one about the very trending product of Splinterlands - $GLX.

If you notice that GLX has dominated the hive-engine market for the past week and shows no sign of relaxing an time soon. This craves a question in my heart as to how long this trend will be? Hence my post, What is the Future of GLX? intended to spark engagement in the subject.

$GLX is the governance token for Genesis League Sports (GLS) which is a newly created sports gaming platform. GLS is here to reward our passion in sport and make it profitable.

Stakers of SPS started receiving daily airdrop of GLX token on the 25th October 2022. Effective November 8, 2022, GLX was listed in hive-engine market and trading against SWAP.HIVE started. Few days after, the Splinterlands creators introduced a staking system that allows GLX holders to stake it on the platform to earn more GLX and GLGT token.

Some days ago, I bought and staked some GLX token since my airdropped balance was less than 5. Each day, I claimed the GLX rewards and further staked them. My staked GLX grew from 20 to 55 as at 3 days ago. This is the link of my 55 GLX stake on Genesis League Sports platform.

As at today, my stake has grown to 68.11. That is an additional 13 GLX okens. I will keep comounding the GLX stake until I reach at least same stake benchmark with SPS.

How does the future of GLS look like?

We should understand that as a governance token, a player's GLX stake would be considered for the creation and voting of proposals to add or subtract or adjust anything about an existing or new game on Genesis league SPorts. We can see that already happening on Splinterlands game with SPS.

1. Splinterlands as Developers of GLS has been trusted

GLX parent company, Splinterlands, has shown a strong passion and high skill and capacity to build and sustain a blockchain game. So therefore, for the fact that Splinterlands has been established for these years I would say, GLX has a wonderful future. With the above, Splinterlands team have earned the trust of players. This means that many splinterlands players will keep trusting Splinterlands team for future good deliveries wit GLS.

2. GLX is linked with SPS

For the next 11 months, any hive user staking SPS would be receiving GLX. This means that even if a user is not interested in the sports gaming platform, they won't ignore the free GLX tokens. This will make the GLX market busy and acive.

GLX investment is profitable

Staking GLX token has been profitable for me so far. With that, I am motivated to buy and stake more. As long as other players find the token useful and profitable, they will still want to buy and stake. That means the future is bight for GLX.
