EOS 103 ~ Zero sum Game with Niknaks

Another end of season in Splinterlands and I guess we all need to change how we think about having earned.

With the Soulbound cards not having any monetary value it might feel similar to just normal gaming where you know you achieved something by the amount of points you got or in this case the quantity of cards.

On a sidenote I do hope Soulbound cards become exchangeable on a 1 to 1 basis like proper trading. It would be cool to be able to swap cards with others or alt accounts so long as you are always giving them an equal rarity card or combination. @Splinterlands

Silver / Gold

Although I changed my account over to Gold mid season I was still playing for Silver end of season chests. Which knowing now how big the difference in card quantity is will be good in the next season to help fill out the Summoners.

I did get some nice Gold foils and that helps lessen the time to wait for enough cards to make Level 3's etc.

Overrall I think comparatively a competitive Bronze or maybe Silver account can be built in a few months as opposed to before where if you were playing and only able to ever rent it will take you years to get that account growth.

An example would be my Water splinter has been delegated out for over a year and the account mainly gains via earnings in game and rents to stay in Silver. With the new Soulbound Summoners I could start undelegating those Water cards and they would have a reasonable team in a few months.

It would be so nice to get my water squad back :P

SPS wise which is the last in monetary rewards, I would say mainly playing in Silver was a bust and just staking my SPS earns me more than actually actively playing.

Although it is not a either or and ontop of my staking at least that is $4 "passively" made.

Bronze

When it comes to the bronze account, I am kinda happy and think with the way Silver and Bronze are balanced chances are that if you can play Bronze then play it, unless you can play Silver 1 I am not sure it is worth it.

For more SPS rewards and longterm then sure Silver is your best bet, but it is not the case that 1 Silver Chest is worth 2 Bronze all that often.

There does seem to be a vast difference between the multiplier effect in Silver to Gold vs Bronze to Silver; where the latter is so close you might not really be inclined to want to have harder battles for lesser chests.

Again here I think the reason I might go to Silver is only to earn more SPS.

My Bronze account did get a pack this season and it is probably the most worth in monetary value.

That I would guess is also another reason to be in the higher leagues, packs can be hit and miss but it is such that even if it is a miss it is a concrete few cents miss.

Your silver haul earned more than my gold haul this season, by a good 25%+!

Could be because Splex shows the whole seasons earnings not just last season rewards? !PIZZA
