My #p2ejourney and how it impacted my life

Let's start how I'm introduced to cryptocurrencies. It first started when a friend of mine introduced me to Telegram. My impression about the app at first was like how I see Facebook messenger but more technical. He made me join a group that "cloud mines" Bitcoin. It was 2017. 1 Bitcoin then was around $4,000. At first I saw bitcoin as a not "real" money. More like a scam. But 3 years later, I just read a news online of how Bitcoin grew. That's when I started becoming more interested in Bitcoin.

I started watching youtube on "how to trade Bitcoin". Then it became "how to trade in Etoro". Until I started trading with my Virtual Portfolio (to practice trading, not real investment).

I was preparing for the moment I can invest in trading using my hard earned money from the job I was gonna apply to, then comes Covid. I can't start a job that rime because of continuous lockdowns. I had to stay at home wait for Covid to pass. It's like waiting for the rain to stop in the middle of a storm.

Months later my brother introduced me to a NFT game called Axie Infinity. It was my first time trying and even hearing out what is an NFT game. He explained to me that it's like mining cryptocoin but "gamified" for people to enjoy. Also, the game was a boom that time so it's the perfect time to start. I started playing the game. It's the first thing I do after waking up in the morning. It's like a perfect job for me. I love playing video games and I also earn in just playing. But I'm never satisfied in just playing the game in the morning for the quota and waiting the rest of the day for tomorrow to come. I knew I had to find another NFT game that I can play to earn. Again I started watching videos on youtube on the different NFT games that everyone should invest. But every game they show has to invest at least $100 to start earning. Then comes Splinterlands.

Just by investing $10 for a spellbook, you can start earning while playing. Then I got hooked into the game. I started inviting my friends to the game and they got hooked too. One friend even started using Splintertalk. Now I see Splinterlands as my long term investment. I believe it is a game with sustainable economy. I believe it's the best NFT game I have ever played. Now I started my new job, I believe Splinterlands will make my after work days less stressful and will help me save for my future. I believe Splinterlands has a long and bright future ahead of it. Good job to the team behind the game. They are doing a great job maintaining balance in the game. Also to the tech supports and admins that are using their time to handle tickets and player issues in Discord and Telegram. I believe I will play the game in the next 5 or 10 more years.

This is my first blog in Hive Blog but I'm on Splintertalk, you can follow me there as well. I have interesting blogs like "card of the day" stuff.
