Strategy
In this battle, I chose the Wood Nymph as a part of my magic damage/sustain/reflect team. It consits of a tank which has magic reflect Failed Summoner, two heavy hitting damage dealers with Magi of the Forest and Magi of Chaos, two healing units Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic and a supporting unit with Amplify and Protect in the form of Queen Mycelia.
I expected my opponent to choose a magic oriented lineup based on his previous battles. I was a bit worried at first due to his mixed lineup.
The general stratgy of this team evolves around dealing massive amounts of magic damage via amplified reflects and strong burst damage. To maximize the reflect, the two healing units were chosen.
Did your strategy work?
Not 100 % as i expected but in general, my team performed really well. The mixed damage from my opponent reduced the effectiveness of my Failed Summoner, but once his main tank Flesh Golem was defeated my burst damage was way to powerful and led to my victory.
What will you try differently next time?
I should take more time analysing the strategy of my opponent in past games to better predict what he is going to play against me.
Do you like the Wood Nymph? Why or why not?
In lower leagues and therefore lower card levels, the Wood Nymph is one of the only low mana healers which makes her crucial in certain matchups. Additionally, she has a mana cost of 4 which gives her extra viability in little league ruleset battles. The only downside i see is that in higher levels, she can be replaced by Khmer Princess.
