Create a competitive Foundation deck solely by playing and using SPLAT!

I asked myself a question recently. If I'm really a new player, arriving in Splinterlands without any cards to play the game, can I climb the ladder just by using Splat and playing? That's the experiment we're going to conduct in this series of articles, which I plan to publish one per day.

Status report after day 1

I got the idea for this experiment after a day of gaming and after playing Splat for a few hours. It allowed me to acquire 5 cards through gameplay and 2 cards through Splat with settings that I will show you shortly. Here's where I am at the start of day 2.

My SPLAT configuration for this challenge!

As you can see, the purpose of this configuration is solely to accumulate cards from the Foundation edition without reselling them. To do this, we will set the drop threshold at 25% to get really good deals and, above all, accept cards in bulk so that we can buy the best deals in large quantities. This will help us climb faster. In addition, we use data enhanced by Splintertrend to avoid market manipulation.

As I mentioned earlier, we obtained two cards after using Splats for a few hours. Here they are.

The purchase prices are excellent and well in line with our goal of getting everything at a minimum discount of 25%. So far, we have invested a little over 5 cents to build our deck via Splat.

Here, even though the cards are not listed because we have disabled automatic selling, we can still see the listing prices that should have been set. This allows us to estimate the savings made.

Conclusion

Just a few hours after launching Splat, we already have our first two results. What's more, the cards we've obtained are really interesting. They're going to have a real impact on the game, on our game, as we climb the Foundation ranked ladder.
