how to create your configuration on SPLAT

The purpose of this article is to guide you through creating your first configuration on SPLAT.

Create an account.

You need to go to this page https://splautotrader.online/auth/login.

From here, you can create an account directly using HiveKeyChain or with a username and password. The choice is yours.

Both authentication systems can be active for the same account. This is not a problem.

Creating the configuration.

Step 1

To create your first configuration, go to the config page: https://splautotrader.online/configs. You can access it from the top menu.

To create your first configuration, you must first give it a name. You can have up to three configurations saved at the same time on Splat, but only one can be active.

Splat also requires your delegation of authority to be able to buy, sell, and/or rent cards. This is so that it can buy and sell automatically.

Once the delegation of authority has been made and validated from Hive KeyChain, you should see the same thing as in the screenshot.

Step 2

Step 2 is the outline of the configuration.

Max card price: This is the maximum price of the deals you want to buy. If a deal comes up and the price is higher than this value, it will be skipped.

Min card price: Same thing, but for the minimum price.

Minimum discount threshold: The percentage decrease for a deal to be considered acceptable for your configuration. For example, if you enter the value 15, then all price drops of 15% or more will be eligible and may be assigned to you.

Tier: Splat is primarily PVP. And you are not alone in assigning deals. There are therefore 3 tiers that allow you to have a higher or lower priority.

*Standard: *Forty percent cashback, but lowest priority.
Pro: Twenty percent cashback, medium priority.
Max: No cashback, highest priority.

Please note that if you find yourself competing for a deal with another user who has the same tier as you, the winner will be determined at random.

Step 3

Step 3 is where you apply filters.
This is where you decide what you want to buy or not buy in detail.

Foil allowed: If this box is unchecked, you will only buy foil 0 deals, i.e., normal ones. When checked, it allows you to choose the exact level of foil you are interested in.

Edition allowed: Check the editions you want to buy. Be careful with Foundations and Conclave Extra: if you don't have a spellbook, you won't be able to sell or transfer your cards.

Trading options:

Auto sell: When this option is enabled, your cards will be automatically put back up for sale after purchase at the next highest price. For example, if you bought a card with a 30% discount at $1, it will be put back up for sale at the next highest price, i.e., $1.30.
This system is 100% automated and programmed to optimize your profits.

Active trading: Enable/disable automatic purchases.

Active config: activates or deactivates the entire configuration.

**Bulk purchase: **activates or deactivates bulk card purchases and opens the Bulk purchase number field.

**Bulk purchase number: **maximum number of cards you want to purchase in bulk. For example, if a deal has 10 cards and you have entered 5 here, you will purchase 5 at once and the other cards will be ignored.

Step 4

The fourth step is for advanced options. If you are just starting out, I recommend following the settings I am about to give you.

Minimum gain: The minimum gain is useful for automatic or manual repricing. The card price will never fall below this minimum gain based on your purchase price. It must therefore be lower than your discount threshold. I recommend setting it between five and ten points below your threshold.

**Min card quantity: **This is the minimum number of cards a deal must contain for you to purchase it. It is advisable to leave this amount at 1 to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible.

Max card quantity: Same as for minimum cards, but for maximum cards. You can leave the default setting, unless you want to make extremely aggressive bulk purchases for resale, in which case you can enter the same value here as for your bulk purchases. 10, for example.

**Maximum card level: **This is simply the maximum level of cards you want to buy. It is in your best interest to try ten, unless you are looking for very specific configurations. Unless you have a special configuration, leave the default value.

Min market stock: This is Splat's old anti-manipulation security feature. This is the minimum number of cards that must remain on the market for a given deal for you to purchase it. For example, if a player buys the entire stock of cards and only 4 or 5 remain on the market, if you have the default number of 8 here, then you will not purchase the cards. I recommend setting a value between eight and ten.

Minimum DEC balance threshold: This is the minimum DEC level below which the bot will automatically shut down. Note that this limit may be exceeded, as the check takes place every minute and you may purchase a high-value card that causes you to fall below it. I recommend setting a value between one thousand and five thousand here.

Auto-reactivate on balance: This option is particularly useful for those who want a 100% automated bot. For example, if you are deactivated because you fall below the minimum DEC threshold, you will be reactivated if sales bring you back above it. This way, Splatt will continue to buy and sell autonomously, without any intervention on your part.

The next two options are completely free for now, but may be reserved for VIP users in the future.

**Auto-Reprice: **If you enable this option, Splat will check at regular intervals to ensure that your deal is still attractive in terms of market placement. You can select the interval. The shorter the interval, the more likely you are to see a rapid price discount, but the faster your sales will be. It is important to understand that the price will never fall below the minimum profit you have set just above.

Splintertrends:

SplinterTrends is a service that analyzes market prices over time. It is therefore particularly effective for checking whether a price is a good deal.

You have three options. Either your deal will be compared to the median price over the last 14 days, or the lowest price of the day. Or, for an extremely aggressive setting, the lowest price of the last fourteen days. If you activate this last option, you should expect to have very few deals.
