Today I can share a battle with a very rare used monster in the Life splinter: the Temporal Master. It is a low mana magic recharge monster, where I often struggle to find a good usecase.

The Ruleset

A low mana setup is a good place to play low mana monsters. But is this true for the Temporal Master as well? I am sceptical, but maybe this will work !?

The Lineup

Card	Ability	Reason
	+1 Health	As a 3 mana cost summoner, this is a good pick to get some stronger monster into the battlefield.
	Shield	A tank with Shield.
		Just a backline protection.
	Sneak	The main damage dealer to get the backline down very fast.
	Recharge	I often struggle to find a good usecase for Recharge. A recharge monster needs a good support and a low mana setup is not the best usecase here. But let's try it!

The Battle

Round 1

My opponent went for a magic Obsidian team. Maybe the Failed Summoner with Magic Reflect could be a problem for my Temporal Master. Also my Armor and Shield from my tank is not the best setup here...

Round 2

In round 1, I was able to kill the first position. Sadly, my Stitch Leech missed his target and my Tank will go down very quickly due to the magic attack.

Round 3

Things aren't great here. My Stitch Leech missed another shot and the Temporal Master get hit from the Magic Reflect. It could be bettet...

Round 4

And it is over!

Conclusion

I think my enemy counters my Tank very well and killed him quickly. Also my Stitch Leech wasn't able to get one single hit. Maybe this was the reason for the loss. On the other hand, a Recharge monster needs a lot of support and has to stay as long as possible in the backline to get the hits. Maybe I should put him in a larger team with a little bit more support. I will test it from time to time!
