Hello to all fans of the Brawls! We are the Hel-Brawlers, one Squad of the bigger Brawlers and Yield Guild family. We like to play the game for fun and rewards, and what we took extremely seriously are the Guild Brawls. Here is our battle report #3.

Prep Stage

We are currently fighting in Tier 1, so we have to fill 13 Frays each brawl.

Select your fray! We are a very active guild, which means, that we have more members who are willing to play Brawls than we've got frays. For that reason, we have implemented a rotating system that makes sure that everyone has the chance to play in the brawl and to make sure that we play the best we can! What does that mean? The last 3 players of the last brawl in terms of results are rotating out and the next 3 players can join. The highest DEC contributors get the first choice of frays.

Combat Stage

Time to fight! We've got a total number of 82 battles this brawl. The battles of Fray 7 are shown below:

Used Gladiator Card: Quora Towershead

Only Earth and Dragon is allowed, so a Quora team is a must, isn't it? My enemy missed this, and because we have got similar setups with and without Quora, who will win? :-)

Double bloodlust from my enemy, but my Quora get early kills, so this was an easy one. But look at the next game for another double Bloodlust game!

Double bloodlust, Scattershot which conters my taunt play and this annoying piercing, that was too much. No chance here.

Battle 4: WIN

I didn't know that I can use Quora in a "only melee monsters allowed" setup. Otherwise, I had choosen Water, but this is quite fun! The additinal magic damage was huge, so this was a nice win for me.

Battle 5: WIN

Used Gladiator Card: Whistling Damon

This is the first time I used this Gladiator card. It attacks twice, and killed twice, there is no better start for this card. I should use him more often in low mana caps!

A Quora on Blast... But also for the enemy team. The lineups were pretty similar, but the positioning of the enemy Quora was very nice. Good job!

My enemy got alot of monsters with low HP, which is not advisable in Brawl battles. Easy win, because his Gladiator went against my Quora with self-heal!

Used Gladiator Card: Flagolon Reine

No Sneak and no snipe should protect my Reine a little bit. Also Kelya vs. Tarsa is often in favour for Kelya. With my Magic damage, I was able to go through the Antoid Platoon quite easily, and then the rests was a glas canon. GG.

Grandmaster Rathe with a No Armor ruleset is an interesting choice. And once my Quora gets into killing mode, there was no stopping for her!

Result Stage

We managed to get the second position again. The distance to the #1 is about 6 wins, but the second place is a very good result. We were rewarded with 22 Crowns, which we will put into leveling up our buildings. The merit rewards are every time very welcome to complete our (mostly incomplete) Gladiator decks.

Upgrading Buildings

We are now at 32 crowns. Let's have a quick look what buildings are leveled up next:

Hall

We've got our hall to level 6 right now. It determinates our Member Limit to 21 and the other Buildings are capped at level 6 as well. As there is no need for crowns to level the Hall up, we just have to contribute...

Lodge

The Lodge levels up itself, all we have to do is to finish our daily quests. We are at 7 % RP bonus currenlty, which is really nice for SPS rewards!

Arena

This will be our next upgraded building. Let's have a look what we can expect.

As we can see, a level 2 Arena allows us to earn x 1.5 Crown rewards. The Frays are still limited to 13. Our mid-term goal should be to play in Tier 2, so we need a Arena at level 3 or higher. Also the crown multiplicator is nice. As we want to be ready to go to Tier 2 when we are ready and when the SPS rewards for brawls are live.

Barracks

We are at Level 2 Barracks, which means that we just unlocked the Gladiator Cards. Currently there is no need to level it up further is the very near future as we all are still collection Gladiator cards.

Store

The Store allows us to pick up Gladiator packs. Also, the level of the Store determinates the reward multiplicator for the Merits. We just managed to get this building to level 3 with our last crown rewards.
