How Long Will It Take For Chaos Legion Packs To Sell Out?

Now that the pre-sale is over with many people in the Splinterlands community have debated about how long it will take for Chaos Legion packs to sell out in the general sale? The presale sold approximately 1 million packs, which all required a voucher. On December 8th phase 2 of the sale begins which again will consist of 2 million packs which will continue to require a voucher to purchase. Phase 2 will ensure that packs do not sell out until early January when the phase ends. But how long will packs last when vouchers are no longer required?

At this time anyone can go to hive engine and buy chaos legion packs for $8, but that is twice the amount that packs will be sold for in the game when vouchers are no longer required. This, again leads to the question of how long will it take for the packs to sell out for in the general sale? Many people have speculated that the packs will sell out almost immediately on day one. Others believe that everyone will have at least a day to buy the packs they want. This has led to different strategies of how to approach acquiring packs.

It is my belief that everyone who is new to the game with limited funds primarily should try to buy non-voucher $4 packs. However, they should be sure to pick up a few packs from external exchanges just in case there is a problem buying during the general sale. With the viral growth this game has experienced, it would not surprise me if there was a quick sellout. It truly will be chaos seeing how everything plays out.
