My Splinterlands Journey

Today I thought I would talk about how I got into Splinterlands. I lost my job during the pandemic and with the money I had saved, I started to look into ways to make a passive income. A good friend introduced me to Earth2 and Alien Worlds.

One day while looking for Alien Worlds assets on the wax platform I saw some cool golden cards for sale from a game I never heard of. I didn't buy that day but that name stuck with me Splinterlands. The next day I looked up the same golden card and the price went up. I remember thinking this might be something good to look into.

Wow! was I blown away with how great of a community Splinterlands had and still has. I found a good job and started picking up cards then untamed packs. The game was fun so I played a lot and started getting reward cards. Through playing the game I was able to earn dice packs and got some great cards there.

Slowly but surely my account started to grow and the game started to change with renting of cards and guild brawls. This game has gone from a curiosity and fun way to pass the time to a real sense of stability in my life. I look forward to opening chaos legion packs and the big land expansion. Splinterlands helped me get through the pandemic and it really shows that the more you put into something the more you can get out of it!
