The Jungle NFT

So my journey into the weird world of NFT has begun, well sort of. Being an avid fan and asset holder in the Splinterlands game, I guess my NFT journey started a while ago. It has now been added to with my first ownership of an NFT outside the game with 'The Jungle' NFT #68

With the help of a mate to secure the SPT in and epic P2P crypto to fiat trade I was able to land (pun intended) one of these babies! What will this lead to? Speculation is rife with the Splinterlands dev team being coy on the overall plans and purpose for these beautifully crafted objects. The fact that they made them little gifs/vidoes instead of just a still images really adds to the attraction and gives an insight into the future of splinterlands assets in game.

I grabbed four. Mostly because I was in Mavs when Aggy told us they were listed. I'll hang on a month or so then flip them :)

I do; I think mostly as bragging rights.
"I was here early enough to get some of the first NFTs"
That makes them more valuable to others than to me, personally.

Fair enough. Aggroed mentioned that maybe one day there might be some in game function for them. What do you think? Or is that so far away is not a concern as a just in case? I guess it could easily just add well be not included I the game

It's always possible; but I constantly buy things telling myself I'm going to flip them for a profit, then I hodl them forever. It's getting ridiculous. If I don't do it with these, I'm going to have to admit I have a problem :)
