Hi, Splinterlands community! I learned about Splinterlands through my friend @pravesh0 and the recent episode on Apple TV also greatly influenced me to join this game. I played many traditional card games like WWE, Pokemon, and Duel Master in my childhood. I believe this platform is like putting forth the same concept with more advanced features and interactions.

I learned the gaming functionalities - the basic gameplay with the help of other friends who are actively playing this game and sharing their experiences in the form of blogs and tweets.

My First Impression

The first thing that I came to know about Splinter Lands is that I have to buy a summoner spellbook to unlock the overall functionalities of this game. And the spellbook cost me just $10. This also marks my first-ever crypto transaction as well!

I am yet to learn what each segment of the feature does but I know I am on the right path. I also found the documentation that helped me to understand the perks of the spellbook and how to start with practice and challenge.

I also received daily gaming events, just after making my purchase and agreeing with the terms of the Splinterland platform. Overall, it was a smooth experience to join this gaming platform!

Recent Killer Whale Episode

This was the tweet that I came across while finding the social hype around this game. I also came to know that Splinterland is not recent but a game that has existed for a long time. This also gives an implication that this game can survive the harsh bear conditions. As this game is wrapped around a cryptocurrency, I believe the growth of Bitcoin will have a direct impact on this game too.

I played a few crypto games before as well under the banner of Web3 like Theta Arena which was once a much-hyped game. But at present due to the prolonged bear market, such crypto-wrapped games are recovering as bitcoin is about to reach an all-time high!

I also found thousands of battle clips, and support videos for Splinterlands on YouTube hence I believe the journey to understand this game will be an easier one! Also, I see the community is more excited about the game than the crypto fluctuation which makes me happy too!
