Summoner

With how the tank healing ability works in the game where the frontline unit is restored 1/3 of its max health rounded up it pairs nicely with Lyanna's +1 ability. This makes it so units have more health at the start of the match as well as more potential healing for the tank which leads to it living for more rounds.

Build-Around Units

One of the only tank healers Earth had access to before the release of Chaos Legion. It is quite a menace on unsuspecting players that have builds that don't target the backline and with its low mana it is a must-have when playing Earth.

With the release of Chaos Legion comes with another Tank Heal unit with the added benefit of having Affliction when it is upgraded to level 4, which is a huge counter to other Heal builds on the ranked ladder i.e the Mirror and Kitty.

One of my go-to unit recently that I just put in without thinking and can carry a win on its back easily. This card with its low mana cost of 2 can decrease a unit's attack by 50% even if it has armor or the shield ability.

The Battle

VS Llama Earth

Modifiers

Through the shown battle history of my opponent, I saw that they were running Llama Kron and I thought this would be a great opportunity to use a Healing comp to counter it. By using Unicorn as my frontline it soaks up more damage and it being healed from two sources would just nullify any damage that the opponent can muster unless they would make it a back row dealing comp instead.

In the end, They did run Llama Kron as expected so the debuffs from my Physic and Alchemist didn't really matter that much but I still came out victorious after stalling for a couple of rounds due to the Void ability from Unicorn, the healing being provided by the backline, and Llama's Last Stand not triggering due to me not having a unit that can kill the chicken.

Final Thoughts

Having an additional source of healing is always a plus on all stages of the ranked ladder and with its lower mana cost, you can adjust your build better as the name of the game is efficiency.

With the release of Chaos Legion, you can even pair it with Earth's new summoner Obsidian and the taunt unit Mycelic Slimespawn so you can always have a damaged unit to be healed and not worry for your backline to be the ones being destroyed.
