Credits in Reward Chest: Yay or Nay?

Hi Splinterfans! Pogier here with a review on the credits in the reward chest!

For the players in the bronze league, gone are the days where the smallest valued reward you can get is 1 DEC (.008 USD). With the recent update, the smallest reward is now 1 credit (.001 USD), this is only 12.5% the value of the 1 DEC reward.

I have yet to see the highest possible credit reward but maybe one day we'll see it, and who knows? It might even be higher than the value of the highest DEC reward out there) fingers crossed

A lot of people have been groaning about the problem with the new update, but an unpopular opinion of mine is that this is a good thing for DEC. Since minting of DEC is lessened (higher rank and more power is required to earn more DEC in ranked battles), I expect the value of DEC to go even higher.

Yes it bites to get something that low, but that's part of the game economy now and we have to live with it. On the brighter side, those potions (dubbed as lotions by the PH community) are actually of higher value than the 1 credit reward.

So what does this mean for the credits? The value of the chests will be more consistent for the bronze league people so we can expect a steady (but slower) increase in power. This is no longer a quick ROI kind of game but more people would have to play longer if they want their initial investment (without adding more funds) to propagate. The best part is that credit value is consistent so no matter what happens to the other coins, it will have the same value as USD.

Let's look on the bright side here and steadily climb out of bronze. Focus on getting all those cards you like and best of luck!
