I Just Sold 100k DEC for the First Time!

Like the title says, I just sold 100k DEC for the first time today! When HIVE pumped earlier in the day, the value of DEC went up really fast! I knew I had to act soon, and it was time to sell some of my DEC to take advantage of the pump.

DEC 24 HR Chart

When looking at the chart, it reached as high as 0.01383 USD and shortly after has corrected since. I am unaware what caused HIVE to suddenly pump to those levels, but it certainly brought the other coins with it!

The Sell Signal

Whenever HIVE pumps like it did, this is the signal I take to sell some assets. My expectations are a pullback always follows a sudden spike as people tend to take profit. After a few days, I hope to eventually buy them back. So in this instance, I sold 100k DEC!

No Trader/ Scalper skills Needed

I'm not one to trade and predict markets in a very small time frame. Normally, I'm used to looking at the patterns using a daily Time Frame.

I reminded myself that I cannot predict the market and decided to stick with my usual strategy. So when I noticed that the pump was over, I knew I had to sell. I wasn't going to wait for a bounce play, because the most important thing was securing my profits. After everything, I was able to sell it for around .0133 USD.

Current DEC Value

So based on the current value of DEC, I'd say I made the right call. Right now I'm waiting for more correction, possibly 0.01 USD. If that were the case, I'd be able to get at least 20% more DEC than I had before.

Preparation for the Next Time

This was a fun experience, but I'm not sure how often this opportunity will present itself. At least for now, I guess I'll start building up that DEC by playing ranked battles.

hive isn't setting for less. And I strongly believe it's going to be $5 before the year runs out we should expect and hope for the best of hive to show forth

A lot of people believe that HIVE is undervalued (I'm one of those). So a 5USD HIVE is something welcomed! I'm definitely loading up on more HIVE soon. I'm expecting a little more pullback xD

So what did you sell into and what are you using to hold it? I'm asking because if HIVE spikes and drags DEC up with it, but you sell your DEC for HIVE, you're not necessarily gaining anything. And if HIVE goes back down, now you could potentially be losing value.

If you sold DEC into a stablecoin, then it works great. So, I was just curious how you did it?
