PeakMonsters Guilds Brawl Report #1
Hi everyone! Pogier here with the first ever unofficial PeakMonsters Guilds Brawl Report! I sat this brawl out so no personal brawls from me, however, this time around we've got something really cool! We've got other PeakMonsters guilds to showcase this time around! Let's get started!
Overall Vikings Guild Performance: 4th Place
This time we took 4th place with 70 wins, 68 losses, and 0 draws. For our effort, we got 30 crowns with each participating member winning 1500 merits.
@lostintime's match: Bayne Brings the Pain!
The spotlight is on Kotriphius Bayne for this match! In the Spreading Fury game modem the higher HP tank, the better! LiT brought in Bayne to do just that. After the enemy tank was destroyed, it was simple enough to secure the win.
@lostintime's match: Fear Poseidon!
Another great match by LiT. In a close range match, Poseidon is an incredibly powerful unit! The blast damage was an extra cherry on top that helped the sniper take out the backline. Once the damage dealers were taken care of at the back, it was GG for the enemy.
@urchintrader's match: Quora Domination!
In order to win this match, you'd have to take advantage of the game mode. This meant that it was a test to see who could deal enough damage and destroy the enemy faster. The enemy had the early game advantage as they swiftly destroyed the ranged units of Urchin. The match was then left up to a Quora on Last Stand. This was really fun to watch as the Quora literally went to town on the enemy like a badass tank! After all the enemies were dead, she had 10 magic and 10 melee damage!
@urchintrader's match: Gorth Smash!
Gorth was a beast to watch! At one point it became him versus the world, but with the high HP and sustain from Kitty, he was able to swiftly destroy the enemies especially with Enraged. If you want to watch him go smash, definitely check out the replay!
@bp9930's match: Chaos Legion Only!
The +1 armor that Kelya Frendul brought to the table gave quite a solid advantage to BP's team. In addition, there was the +1 speed that gave BP's team the first turn advantage. With those two things along with the fact that the enemy didn't take full advantage of the Summoner ability, the match was in the bag.
@kalyus's match: Reverse Speed Meta!
The enemy brought in a very weird pick. He decided to take the second turn just to get the true sight ability. Kalyus on the other hand brought in a lot of firepower in the form of Yodin! By taking the first turn, Kalyus was able to hit the enemy as much as possible and by the second round, it was obvious that Kalyus would win. GG.
@kalyus's match: Back to Basics King: Yodin!
In a back to basics match. Yodin has been known to be incredibly dominating. The extra damage through blast increases the overal firepower of the team. By the end of the match the enemy would've been whittled down way faster than they could kill off the yodin team. Great job with the Yodin pick!
@bp9930's match: Double Bloodlust!
The true strike and blast is perfect for slow damage dealers like Grum Flameblade and Chimney Wallstop. These two were effectively bulldozers on two legs. They were able to swiftly destroy the enemy team. PS Notice how the enemy doesn't have a guild any more? Ho shiz was the loss too bad that they were kicked? BP is too op!
PeakMonsters [Legion] Guild Brawl Highlights
@culturearise369's match: the Fall of Yodin!
It's not often you see a chaos legion deck beating Yodin but this was impressive! By taking the first turn and relying on opportunity attacks, the enemy was swiftly taken down! By the end, Isgald Vorst became the main tank and dodged a lot of key moments. This match definitely deserves your attention so check it out!
@culturearise369's match: Beating an OG!
Another match versus Yodin, but this time the enemy is one of the OG players! I honestly thought that the CL deck would lose, but daaaamn. This was a really close fight! I highly encourage you to watch the power of untamed+chaos legion in action!
Witch of Warlock was the main damage dealer on asakim's side, but did you notice the incredible combo? Asakim seemed to have expected MightyPanda to bring in melee units so asakim used the Harklaw with the shield ability and Disintegrator's demoralize in tandem. This allowed enough time for the Witch to get strong over time! By the end it managed to get in several kills and leeched enough life to win when it was in the front.
There you have it, folks! Lots of awesome matches from Vikings and from Legion!
