Genesis League Goals - 100 packs are opened, what to do with the rest, thoughts about the game

I opened 100 packs in the last few days in two parts (15 + 85). I got a result roughly in line with expectations. 500 cards, 324 different type of cards out of the max 396. 64 gold foil player cards, 17 coach cards, 2 gold foil coach cards.

My guess is that the gold foil coach cards will be the most valuable cards in the game, so I'm missing a bit. I only got 2.

I was playing a bit, and tried to set a team from gold foil cards... :) In that department, I think, I got enough options.

This team + a coach probably will be good enough to play the game (if you can use only gold foil cards). I didn't get really good defenders, but I got plenty good midfielders and attackers. (There are less midfielder and attacker cards out there, so those should be more valuable cards, will be easy to trade for good defenders.)

Probably worth to open the rest of my packs in the next 2-3 weeks, or at least most of them. I definitely want to keep some packs unopened. You just never know where the price of packs will go and maybe potential future staking option will appear, too.

I still have another 100. At least for 2 more weeks, I want to keep them staked, so I don't have to buy more GLX to reach the target amount.

I guess, I was in the right place at the right time, as I bought most of my packs between $2.60 and $3.00, so even today, it approx worth at least 15% more and I suppose it won't be cheaper anymore.

The near future game expectations, questions, speculations:

Maximum 48 days and the game will be live, even if just in a basic mode. I just read the FAQ and whitepaper again few days ago.

I didn't find anything about multi-accounting, having more teams in a tourney, cup. It would be good to know these things, maybe worth to open all the packs...

I still stand with GLGT, I suppose it will have further multiple and important usages. The only asset what I will buy further in the next 1.5 months. I don't have much doubt about that. I also don't have that much at the moment. (Buying more packs was a priority.) However holding nearly 0.1% of total supply at the moment looked enough good for first target. The next one is having 1%, around 15k.

It is partly for speculation, partly having it for game play. I don't see any way to earn it except staking GLX, and I hardly can imagine it won't go up if new usage will be introduced by game release.

Probably not anytime soon, but it will be important. Basically the GLG lands. Good to plan ahead. It will be a must buy for me.

The next one is the player boosters and cosmetics:

I suppose, this is the first what will come, as soon as the game released. The boosters are obvious. However the cosmetics are kinda questionable for me, what will be the purpose, usage of them? The price of the boosters are also a good question, how the in game, rewards effects, too.

Generally, I suppose a given card should have more or less equal boost by boosters, gold foil version and experience points. We will see soon.

Keep in mind, that they distribute in this year (season) 15,000,000 GLX. 5M from that goes for ranked staking (is it kinda betting for yourself or for someone else????). The other 10M goes for 50-50% between playing single matches and tournaments/cups.

I assume, this season, the first one, will be shorter, so the rewards can be higher at the beginning. More worthy to play the game, an other reason why open more packs.

Regarding game play, and play to earn rewards, it is hard to paint a realistic picture at the moment. There is simply not enough information for that.
