Hello Hivers friends and Splinterlands DApp fans. May god bless us all.

In this post, I want to share information about fraudulent activities being carried out by irresponsible parties via Twitter. The party committed fraud on behalf of the Splinterlands project. This action is a violation of intellectual rights that have intentionally imitated and committed fraud on Twitter.

I'm sharing here so that we all know and try as much as possible to reduce the number of victims of this scam. Especially for those who are new to blockchain and crypto. Newcomers are usually vulnerable to becoming victims of fraud, especially with their low level of knowledge and experience, so let's work together to spread this information.

I've been browsing for the past 2 days and am keeping track of this activity. As the largest growing community in the Hive blockchain, we must work together to resolve all forms of violations in the name of Hive or other projects that stand on the Hive network. This is an effort to maintain the integrity and secure network channels for all users.

So, what activities do they do? They offer Free NFT for users who log in to claim through their fake site. This is an old version of the activity that is being revived to reach victims. Generally they reach new users who have minimal knowledge and experience in blockchain and crypto.

Please review their tweets below!

When a user clicks on "Claim Now", it can automatically steal funds and data that goes through the QR code they plug into WalletConnect. So, don't ever click on that and ignore those of you who don't know anything about this project.

Here are the things you need to pay attention to about this project, compare the official project with fake copycat projects :
So, how to prevent this from having victims, let's work together to report this fake account :

Screenshot (777).png

  • Please go to https://twitter.com/splinterllands
  • Click on the 3 dots in the profile section
  • Click report account, fill in all requested information
  • Click on all sections of the selection, the identification of the violation committed is committing fraud under a false identity
  • Click all report options to finish and click send

Keep doing it and invite more users to report this account and share information with everyone. This goal is to ensure that the account is immediately taken down from Twitter. So, our decision will be very useful for the Hive ecosystem, let's maintain the value and integrity of our blockchain, our beloved home Hive.

Some tips for us

I have a few tips for us not to become victims of fake projects carried out by irresponsible people.

  • Please cross check the information of each offer you find.
  • Always ask those closest to you and those who have experience in crypto or blockchain.
  • Check web addresses and compare, for projects on Hive blockchain always review at https://hive.io/eco
  • Search their list of social media IDs, maybe you will find double IDs that are almost identical.
  • Check out their social profiles, they generally have fake followers and few or no followers.
  • In essence, don't be easily tempted by various offers that give prizes, even if they are amazing.
  • Always be careful and don't easily share your id or data with other people.
  • Double check and always stay alert.

Thus my post, I hope this post can provide information and education for all of you. Thank you for leaving your comments and feedback on this post. Best wishes for us.

Regards,
@ponpase

Please don't add a clickable link for the fake accounts in your post. Add a space in between the URL. No matter how many times you warn people there will always be someone who is stupid or greedy enough to click on a fake link.

Please make it a not clickable by adding a space in between to break up the URL. People never read warnings. There is no need to help scammers by driving traffic towards their scam website

We have different perceptions, I think the Twitter link is needed, it's to invite people to report to take down their accounts.

but for whatever reason, i take your advice, you are too worried about it.

Thanks
