Searching for People

Hello Splintertalkers! I've tried to search for a way to look for people to follow here to no avail. Is there an area where there is a search box or something so that I could search for content or people and not just look in explore and search via tags?

If there is no option (as I've really tried to look for one), is it possible to get one developed (request for the devs 😁)?
