Noa the Just, with high Speed Rust them all

Hello all Splinterlands players we meet again, I want to write another post in Splinterlands Community in order to join this contest Social Media Challenge this is an event held by Splinterlands every week. Today I want to discuss Monsters Noa the Just reward card from the Soulbound deck.
My enemy is from same scholar Balthazar as me, so our names not much different, I am bltzr-wizard-710.
The guide presents a strategy on how to advance through the ranks by utilizing reasonably priced or cheap-to-rent monsters that can still prove effective. So no Expensive card to rent in my guide.

Ruleset

From left to right :
- Closed Range, range monsters can attack from the first position.
- Ferocity , all monster has Fury ability.
- Fury ability make the attack do double damage against monster with Taunt ability.
- Weak Magic, magic attack will hit armor first before reducing the HP.
- Mana Cap 38.
- Can use element Water, and Dragon.

My Lineup and strategy
This is what I think about the ruleset and how to choose a monster base on the ruleset.
- Closed range, actually I do not really pay attention to this ruleset if we can use all monsters, I will play using the usual formation.
- Ferocity, just make sure not to use monsters with the ability Taunt, they will die fast when attacked.
- Weak Magic. if the monster in front does not have Void ability make sure he has good armor, preparing if the enemy brings many magic monsters.
We decided to use monsters with water elements because has many monsters with High HP, healers, and most important the summoner can give armor and speed. The Summoner has 4 mana costs.
This is the enemy lineup :

This is our lineup from left (first position) to right (last position) :

| Summoner/monster and Abilities | Description |
|---|---|
| Kelya Frendul, Give armor and speed +1 to all friendly monsters. | The armor is very useful in the ruleset Weak Magic if the enemy brings high damage magic monster, one armor can give zero damage at the first attack, high speed will make sure we can attack first, increase the chance to hit and evade enemy melee, and range monsters. Hope we can attack first and killed the enemy monster before they can attack. |
| Baakjira, 1st position, Tanker. Has ability Void, Slow, Strengthen, and Heal. | This monster I think is all in one solution it strong enough against melee, range, or magic. Because Has Big HP and good ability like ability Void (reduce magic damage by 50%), Heal (Every round will restore some of the HP). Strengthen ability will make all friendly monster HP increase by 1, and the slow ability will decrease the enemy speed by 1. The only weakness this monster can't attack. |
| Pelacor Bandit, 2nd position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, and Flying. | Put this here so can be a tanker if the Baakjira Die, hope that fast speed and Flying ability (increase the chance to evade melee and ranged attack by 25%) can evade some attacks. This monster will attack the enemy monster in the last position because has sneak ability. |
| Deeplurker, 3rd position, attacker. Has the ability Opportunity, Poison, and Demoralize. | Has High attack and good speed. If I remember right this is the only monster with Opportunity ability who has poison ability. Opportunity makes this monster attack the enemy monster with the lowest HP. If the enemy monster is inflicted with Poison status will decrease the enemy HP by 2 every round. Demoralize is a good support ability that can decrease all enemy melee attacks by 1. I put this monster in this position to protect it as long as possible from enemy attack. This is our main attacker. |
| Uraeus, 4th position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, and Poison. | I think like a combination of Pelacor Bandit and Deeplurker, with extra armor. Use this monster because of the poison ability. same as Deeplurker put this in this position to protect this monster. |
| Kulu Mastermind, 5th position, attacker. Has ability Weapons Training, Opportunity, and, Shield. | I put this monster in 5th position as 2nd tanker because the shield ability will reduce the range and melee damage by half. Have good HP, damage, and speed. The weakness is only high mana cost requirement of 9. |
| Noa The Just, 6th position, tanker. Has the ability Rust, and dodge. | This monster is put in the last position to handle the monster with sneak ability. Has very high speed and Dodge ability same as flying will increase the chance to evade the enemy melee and range attack by 25%. Support ability Rust will decrease all enemy monsters by -2. Same as Baakjira this monster can't attack. I lately using this monster many times the rust ability is very good against the Water element. This monster is not maxed level yet. but already very powerful. |

The Battle

Round 1 :
The battle begins with Buff and Debuff from both sides.
The enemy brings Venari Wavesmith so Noa's ability Rust is canceled by Armor's ability.
Enemy Pelacor Bandit attack evaded by Noa.
The enemy Diemonshark several time activated the Retaliate ability to counter the attack of our Pelacor Bandit and Uraeus

Round 2 :
- Our side :
- Uraeus Die because inflicted by enemy Deeplurker Poison.
- enemy Side :
- Same as our Uraeus Die because of poison inflicted by our Deeplurker.
Enemy Venari Wavemsith almost die because our monster Deeplurker and Kulu Mastermind focused the attack.

Round 3 :
Enemy Venari Wavesmith die attacked by Kulu Mastermind, Pelacor Bandit and Deeplurker's armor is gone.

Round 4 :
- Our side :
- Pelacor Bandit die killed by enemy Deeplurker
- Enemy side :
- Pelacor Bandit die because inflicted by Deeplurker's poison at the beginning of the round.
- Diemonshark dies attacked by Deeplurker.
In this round, we can already see that the victory will be ours because only left Deeplurker and Baakjira in the enemy side.

Round 5-9 :
- Enemy side :
- Deeplurker die in round 6 attacked by Kulu Mastermind.
- At round 9 the enemy Baakjira finally dies attacked by Deeplurker, it took a while because Baakjira is a very tough monster and can heal.
With the death of Baakjir the victory become ours.

Did your strategy work?
The strategy is going well. even though the enemy brought a Diemonshark monster which we didn't expect to be placed at the back. The enemy plan I think for Diemonshark is to deal with our monsters with the Sneak ability,
The battle is not easy. We're lucky because the enemy carries the magic monster Venari Wavesmith which is an easy enemy for Baakjira, Baakjira Heal is much more greater than the damage. Venari Wavesmith counters Noa's ability to reduce armor.
In this battle, I didn't activate Weapon Training Kulu Mastermind on Baakjira for fear that the enemy would bring Diemonshark (with Retaliate ability it will hit back enemies who attack it) or Djinn Chwala (Thorn ability will damage the HP/armor of melee monsters that attack it by -2 each time attack) which can hasten the death of Baakjira.

Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to review my battle report. I appreciate your efforts and would be grateful if you could provide me with feedback on any mistakes you find by leaving a comment.
