How to buy DEC Token via Pancakeswap?

For newbies in Splinterlands, you have to buy a spellbook but since the Splinterlands updates that in bronze 1 newbies are not able to collect DEC tokens. To be able to power up to get in the higher league they need DEC to rent cards. This Blog is to guide newbies to start their splinterlands journey by buying dec for renting.
Steps how to buy Dec to start in Splinterlands:
- Buy BNB token then transfer to the metamask via Binance Smart Chain.
- After transferring the BNB in metamask, go to coingecko.com and search for DEC token.
- Copy the address of DEC Token.
- Add token to metamask Binance Smart Chain.
- After you add the DEC token to metamask go to pancakeswap then paste the address of the DEC token.
- Then you will find DEC in pancakeswap then swap the BNB to DEC.(make sure the metamask wallet is connected to pancakeswap.
- Then check the metamask if the token is already transferred.
- If the DEC token is in the metamask got to the game site then see the above the plus sign in DEC section.
- If you see the DEC plus sign, click that add button then pick a wallet to choose Binance Smart Chain.
- Then put the amount you want and confirm the transaction in the metamask.

A very complex method, if you want to save on commissions I think the best way is to buy Hive on Binance and move it to your Hive Keychain account. The commission is very low.
Then you can exchange your Hive to Dec from Splinterlands website.

What are the fees involved in using Pancake swap? There are fees associated in using HIVE also when you swap between HIVE to SWAP.HIVE.
