End of season madness
There is a lot of going on in Splinterlands lately another season is coming an end and we have got a lot of announcments from splinterlands team.It's hard to keep up with everything so I will try to break down all recent news in my post
Splinterlands economy at end of the season
There is less than a day left of this season and we already can see all rental prices rising. Cheapest gold legendaries are now around 600-700 DEC per day while 2 days ago it was only around 100 DEC. It's all happening due to changes made before previous season end. Back then you recived a season rewards for the highest rank you achvied that season and now you get rewards for the rank you have at the end of the season thats why all the rentals price are going up last 24 hours of season and they will probably go even higher as it gets close to the end of season
Chaos presale announcment
Few days ago splinterlands team posted information about how the presale of new set will look like. They also introduced new Voucher token that will be needed for buying new set in presale. New token will be airdroped to everyone based on how much sps token you are staking. For more information check out official @Splinterlands post
That announcment had a big impact of price of DEC and SPS tokens as we could see DEC price went from around 5.5$ per 1000 DEC to nearly 8$ per 1000DEC
Price of SPS have nearly doubled in last 5 days it went from around 0.25$ to 0.45$ that's also becouse Splinterlands is constantly growing and more and more players are getting into this game. Nearly 15000 people are creating their accounts every day !

Splinterlands team also announced changes to rewards in next season.

- DEC Ranked Battle Reward
Starting shortly after the end of the current ranked play season on Thursday, September 30th, 2021, the DEC rewards given out for a ranked battle win will be based on the minimum of the winning player's current rating and the maximum rating for their current league within the game.
For example, if a player's ranked battle rating is currently 2,500 and they are in the Silver I league, then when they win a ranked battle their DEC reward will be based on a rating of 1,899 (the maximum rating for the Silver I league). - Loot Chest Rewards
