My Jolius Blast Story
Viel Spass beim lesen :)
Deutsche Geschichte:

English Story:
The Thing About the 13 Mana: My First Time Against Jolius Blast.
If you battle your way through the leagues under the name "powerhemp" like I do, you eventually develop a pretty thick skin. You know your decks, you know how to strategize around mana costs, and after countless matches in Guild Brawls, Frontier, Modern, Survival and Wild modes, you tend to think you’ve seen it all. I may not own any actual land in Praetoria, but my entire empire is wrapped up in my card collection. Every single card was hard-earned. And then, out of nowhere, matchmaking hits you with a high-mana match that catches you completely off guard.
It happened during a Guild Brawl. The restrictions were minimal, and the mana cap was absurdly high. I set up my team as usual—solid magic and physical attackers, a well-thought-out lineup. I was feeling pretty confident. But when the timer ran out and the curtain lifted on my opponent's lineup, I gulped.
There he was in the front row: Jolius Blast.
I had heard about the new Arena Vanguard card. 13 mana—an absolute behemoth that eats up nearly half the team's budget. But seeing what this beast can do on paper versus seeing it bear down on you in a replay are two completely different things. At first glance, the name makes you think of splash damage, but the reality on the battlefield is something else entirely. Jolius is a walking fortress.
The match began, and my strategy simply bounced right off. I had specifically banked on powerful magic attacks to quickly crack the front line. A huge mistake. Jolius Blast stood at the front like a rock in the surf. His Void ability swallowed the damage from my magic attacks as if it were nothing more than a gentle summer breeze. While my monsters struggled in vain against his massive health bar, the opposing team calmly countered from the back row.
He didn't shred my lineup with explosions; he simply starved me out and stonewalled me. There was no beating that much purchased sustain and such a massive presence. I lost that first match decisively.
But that’s the beauty of Splinterlands: you learn from your defeats. Watching the replay, I realized you can't just blast away a behemoth like that with standard magic when Void is active. I went through my own collection, optimized my counter-lineups for next time, and focused on raw physical force to target his armor and health directly.
A short while later, I got incredibly lucky and pulled my own copy of Jolius Blast from a drop. Since that day, we’ve been on the same side. Whenever the mana limit allows and the opponent threatens with magic-heavy teams, I deploy Jolius as my ultimate shield on the front line. It’s a damn expensive card to field—but when it completely stalls the opposition, it’s worth every single mana point.
(My English is not very good. There could be some errors as i just used Google translate)
