Rumour Has It...

Rumour has it the devs over at Splinterlands are looking to introduce Achievements into the game ASAP...the game has had the achievement section on the game now for some time and rumour is the delay is due to "Agro" wanting this section to be more than just a goal or a statement...

If your wondering where you can see this in game, all you need to do is click on your avatar pic and its there next to your in game stats..

So how does achievements tie into airdrop points?? ... in the recent town hall it was touched upon that the team are looking at a way to make the achievements more meaningful and hold some financial value. The idea of an achievement being tied to a specific amount of airdrop points like you get for holding "Chaos" packs or "Skins" for instance would be a way of doing this it would also give the player base another reason to grind the game...especially if this wasnt retro active and all players were starting at the same level...

One achievement could be worth a 100 Airdrop points it could be for "Winning a battle with all splinter types" for example...

With the devs looking for a way to give the achievements value its hard to look further than it being airdrop points for me it makes the most sense...

Let me know what you think in the comments below and hit the like and follow for more "Rumour Land" content.

Until Next Time Powis Signing Off...

I think adding a collection power bonus to the achievements would add financial value that includes the airdrop points and continues past it.

Yes that's another option and another part I'd welcome to see! Let's hope. Thanks for your comment.

If achievements will not be retroactive they will be a nice implementation, if they will be retroactive they will be another big gap between old and new players

I too would prefer them not to be retroactive, i think everyone starting off equal would be beneficial and also incentivise new players. Thanks for your comment.
