Topic: Max level cards are profitable or not ?
I have started steemmonsters a month ago and I was wondering that maxing the level of cards is more profitable or selling it in low levels like 3-4 is better . I am currently in silver league so I am just a starter . Kindly guide me for the next steps .

Its much easier to sell a level 1 card then it is to sell any that is leveled but the maxed leveled card allows you to earn more rewards via game play because you can compete at a higher level for higher rewards.

If you're only worried about selling them, it makes sense to keep them seperated and sell them off individually. People who want to buy max level cards are rare and probably want to pay less per BCX than someone who is just buying one card. It's a good idea to combine them if you want to earn by playing, though. I suppose it all depends!

This is my thinking...
In the short term, individual uncombined cards are worth more if you are trying to sell them, like said by the others, there aren't very many people who are willing to or able to come up with the money to buy high level cards at full price.
In the future though, and this is just my speculation, I think that max level cards are going to hold a higher value.
The reason why I say this is because there are only ever going to be a certain ammount of cards in existence, so you have to think about what is going to happen when all of the lvl one cards are already combined and people are using them to play. I think that as it becomes harder to buy and level a particular card by combining lower level cards, the demand for Max level cards will increase. People are going to be willing to pay a premium to compete at the top.
This is all especially true as long as they don't change the fact that combining two high level cards has a deminished return... If you combine two lvl 9 cards, all of the extra cards just get lost you just get a lvl 10 card that has a bunch of extra cards dumped into it. If your options are 2 lvl 9 cards for $60 or one lvl 10 card for $50 you choose the lvl 10 even if you are paying more per bcx... hopefully that all makes sense.
