My Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! The Lorna Shine

Hello guys, this is my entry to the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!". If you want to participate and/or read more about the challenge, click here.
We are at the start of a fresh season and it always gets tough at the start of the season as everyone tries to regain their lost ratings. Modern Format has become quite challenging. One of the units that helped me a lot in the last season is the summoner Lorna Shine. It is going to be the highlighted summoner where we will talk about strategies for using it.
Let's start by looking at its stats in detail.

Lorna Shine
Lorna Shine is a useful summoner that costs just 3 and grants all the summoner the 'Divine Shield' ability which is very useful during your battles, especially in lower mana cap battles where one hit can change the entire fate of the game.
It is most effective when you use multiple weaker units rather than a few strong units as each unit gains the divine shield ability and the first attack on them will be ineffective. Also, it is effective in specific rulesets or abilities like rebirth or resurrects.
Let's see how I utilised it in one of my battles.

My Lineup
This is my lineup for the battle
It was just a 26-mana cap battle and had the 'Weak Magic' ruleset which means that the magic attacks hit the armour before damaging health.
Only 'Fire', 'Life' and 'Death' elements were active during this battle. I had 26 mana to work with so I could afford to use a tank at the front with multiple weaker units at the back. That's the reason I went with the Lorna Shine as my summoner, it gave all my units the 'divine shield' ability.

I used the Chain Golem as my tank. As I stated earlier, it is one of the best tanks from the neutral element. I was expecting a heavy melee attacking unit based on my opponent's last 5 lineups. So, that's where its 'shield' ability was going to be very effective. Not just its defensive capability but its attacking strength is no less either.
Next was Uraeus, another melee attacker dealing 2 melee damage and costing just 3 units. I placed it in the second position just as it got the extra armour too. It comes with the 'sneak' ability which attacks from the back of the lineup rather than the normal from the front which can surprise my opponent and I can get some useful units early in the game.
Celestial Harpy was another melee attacker dealing just 1 melee attack damage. It only costs 2 mana so it was fine and comes with 'flying' and 'opportunity' abilities which are very useful in close games.
**Battering Ram was placed in the next position just as a unit, another melee attacker costing just 2 mana. But this one only came with 1 health point so I had to shove it in the middle of the lineup to give it extra protection. It also came with 'opportunity' ability.
Venari Crystalsmith was the only ranged attacker in my lineup. It came with the super useful 'tank heal' ability which should support my Chain Golem placed at the front of the lineup.
Last but not least was Time Mage who was the only magic attacker in my lineup. I used it because of its superior speed and its 'slow' ability which decreases the health of all enemy units by 1. However, it costs 4 mana and only comes with 3 health points so I had to be cautious when using this.
Now that my lineup was set, it was time for battle.

I will share my battle here, which I have uploaded to YouTube.

My Strategy
Since this was a 26 mana battle with a kind of restrictive ruleset that hinders the power of magic attackers, I went with a heavy melee attack.
I had a strong tank in the form of Chain Golem which could soak attacks and stand there for a long time while all the weaker units could work from the back and take down units slowly.
I supported my tank by adding a healing unit in the form of Venari CystalSmith who was the only ranged attacker in my lineup. I just went with a good balanced approach, didn't want to try a super unique strategy and fail miserably...lol
This strategy, as you will see, worked in my favour and gave me a comfortable win at the end.

My opponent used the Chaos Knight as their tank and used a summoner that can summoner a gladiator unit. They used Captain Kate as their gladiator card.
They didn't go with the strongest of tanks but the weakest part of their lineup was the backline and I had units attacking that part of the lineup.
Round 1 saw the demise of my Scavo Hireling so their 'repair' unit was lost early and it must be a big setback for their tank. My 'divine shield' ability was so effective in the first couple of rounds and it got worse for my opponent as their attack was much spread than focused on a few units.
They must have had high hopes with their tank and gladiator card but both of them didn't work while my Chain Golem did its job perfectly.
My Chain Golem was still standing like a boss at the end. I got an easy win at the end of this battle. My opponent misplaced the whole battle so badly that I got a very comfortable win but that should not take away anything from my lineup and strategy.

Conclusion
As you just saw in the above battle, Lorna Shine can be a very effective summoner, especially against a lineup with so unfocused attacks. In the above battle, it survived the continuous enemy attacks throughout the battle as the first attack damage was ignored.
Also having a Strong tank at the front with a healing support is crucial too. In the lower mana cap battles the divine shield ability becomes super effective as one miss or hit can change the entire fate of the game.
It only costs 3 mana which is a big positive too, especially in lower mana cap battles. I would recommend this summoner to everyone. It is also very effective with rebirth and resurrects where the resurrected units get the divine shield ability again and it gets difficult for your opponent.
