Rebellion is Coming! My Favorite cards from Sneak Peeks!

Rebellion is almost here. With just under 10 days left for the general sale of Rebellion packs, that will mark the start of a new edition of Splinterlands cards and lore!

There are a lot of changes that are planned and some changes are bigger than others. There are some major gameplay changes and one of them is "Multi-element summoner and Summoner tactics"

The addition of dual element summoner is going to be a huge change in my opinion which is going to send players back to the drawing board to come out with strategies on how to use this new power and how to counter it. Choosing which summoner ability to apply will always come with some tradeoffs. These choices will make the gameplay more dynamic and interesting, in my opinion.

My Favorite Units from Sneak Peeks

Splinterlands keeps dropping sneak peeks and the latest post was also a sneak peek with 4 more cards. I think the number is now 14, and most of those are great cards. Some of them are very efficient in mana costs and still come with a lot of health and good stats.

A dual-element summoner which costs just 3 mana and will allow both Death and Water cards to be used in my lineup? Yes, Sir! I am excited to see this in action and using units from both the elements will allow us to build stronger lineups.

Ulundin Overseer

Ulundin Overseer comes with the new ability Flank which will give 'reach' ability to the second unit in the lineup and that could be a very strong front line. It costs 11 mana but comes with a lot of health and armour so it will be a great fit for those high mana battles. I can see this being used in a lot of strategies like giving it some weapon training so it can deal with some attack on its own. Hopefully, many units work well with this one!

Pirate of Eight

I really like this one, costing just 4 mana and coming with two nice abilities at each level. Blast is really a nuisance for the opponent if used well and this will work even in those little mana battles. And I liked the character art too. Super cool card!

Moxian Rebel

Now this can work well with the Ulundin Overseer as it comes with Weapon training. As the ability is going to be used more now because of the changes, this will be a good fit for your deck. Having phase at level 4 is not bad either, it can take advantage of its decent speed during the battle. And the best part is being a neutral unit! I really like it now.

Gobalano Soldier

Gobalano Soldier is an amazing card too capable of destroying or at least weakening the enemy's back line. These sneaky units are always good for surprising your opponents and costing just 3 mana to use is really cheap.

Well, all the cards are powerful and unique. There are a lot of other units that I liked on the first look and playing with them will surely make me like them even more.
