Russia’s 30-Day Blitz

The next four weeks — leading up to an annual Victory Day celebration in Moscow — are a crucial and intensely dangerous period in Russia’s war on Ukraine.
May 9 is a major holiday in the Russian Federation, with the country closing down each year to mark its World War II victory over the Nazis. That makes it a deadline with significant symbolism in Russian domestic politics.
Russia either may be repelled in Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region by then and forced to claim false victories — or have used a brutal assault to cinch a strategic win.

Western sanctions and condemnations intended to pile pressure on Vladimir Putin instead seem to be rallying Russians behind him.

NATO Plans Massive Military Buildup On Russia's Border, Citing Major "Reset"

…Jens Stoltenberg said Nato was “in the midst of a very fundamental transformation” that will reflect “the long-term consequences” of Vladimir Putin’s actions.
As part of a major “reset”, the relatively small “tripwire” presence on the alliance’s eastern flank will be replaced with sufficient forces to repel an attempted invasion of member states such as Estonia and Latvia. Options for the reset are being developed by Nato military commanders.

If I were a single-issue voter, my single issue would be that women shouldn't be jailed for having abortions, especially when men walk free after trying to overthrow the government.

Do you know a good way to move steem to hive? Most exchanges are captured or don't serve USA.

(Edited)

I used @ionomy but that was a couple of years ago, don’t know if it would still work.

As I vaguely recall, they are in the Seychelles. I think I got an account there with just an email, no KYC, although that may have changed by now.

Got an account number and then, from Steem wallet, sent Steem to @ionomy with that number in the memo. Maybe test that with a tiny transfer?

I think there is/was another way, through Hive-engine. Again from a Steem wallet, test with a few tokens:

Send Steem to @graphene-swap
Your memo would be
SWAP.STEEM zoidsoft
without the @

You could then, in theory, trade on Hive-Engine for SWAP.HIVE but liquidity is very thin.

Best of luck. All this is from my foggy memory of two years ago.
