Goblins!

Greetings, Splinterlands players! I had been been ignoring weekly battle challenge because I was too busy playing my favorite splinter these past 3 or 4 days. Yes, the the water splinter 💦 🌊 . I even got water quests for days! But lately I'm starting to like the earth splinter more and more, especially with my level 3 Obsidian. She complements this week's star of the show, the Goblin Psychic!
I usually play the Flesh Golem because I love the tank heal and also I like to show off the alternate skin I got for it. However, for this challenge (and perhaps for now on I should consider) the Unicorn Mustang as a viable tank. Mine is only level 1 but it still has decent speed and attack and I figured I'd be battling some mages since the water and earth splinters were options for this battle.

I always like to put my Centauri Mage in the second position in case there are any snipers or if the tank falls because that Return Fire ability is pretty cool. She has good health too, for a backup tank.
Our star, the psychic, is next in line. I like to put him in the middle and definitely before the nymph because he has slightly more health and, if it comes to that, he can heal himself and then be healed by the nymph. This is only in theory and has never actually happened. I either come out victorious or just get outright slaughtered. Well, that's Splinterlands for ya.
I always have trouble picking mages towards the back end. Don't want some with too low health or they'll be picked off by sneaky monsters. I figured I'd be safe though since I was most likely going against another all magic team. So for that reason I added the mushroom seer.
With only 2 points of mana left, I couldn't play Biljka, which is an awesome card at level 2 in conjunction with Obsidian. So I settled for the Khmer Princess. It's my dream to level her up (and Obsidian) to the point where she can heal as well. Then I would have 2 mage healers! Someday...

Finally, the battle we've all been waiting for!

I have to admit, without the mustang and seer, it would not have been such a victory. Had I gone with my usual choice of the Flesh Golem, he would have literally been toast.

What do you opine?
How do you think I fared in battle? I would love to hear some insights as I'm sort of a Splinterlands hermit. I just learn strategy a I go or I copy from what I see works. I don't communicate with other battlemages. All work, no play.

Speaking of which, I had better get back to it. Those barracks won't upgrade themselves!
See you in battle.
