Hello, Splinterlanders!
Let me start off by saying that being in a guild is great. You get DEC bonuses when you win battles but also get access to other exclusive parts of the game like brawls. I admit, I wasn't too thrilled when brawls were first released (I don't respond well to change) but they have since grown on me! What's that other great perk you get from being in a guild? Oh yeah, access to a new set of cards!

The Gladiators

Although the cards from Gladius cases cannot be sold, transferred, or delegated, they still have inherent value. All of them have the Bloodlust ability, which, from my experience with Grum, increases all stats (health, speed, armor, and attack) upon knocking out an enemy monster. This ability is literally a game changer! So without further ado, let's see what I got in my gladiator pack!

Well, I got my guaranteed rare. Actually, I'm still quite satisfied with this pull as they will add to my collection power. I thought they were all neutral cards because of the grey color but I am just now realizing they each belong to their respective splinters, and rightly so. I wish the mage was part of the water splinter though to get that buff from Alric. Life Leech plus Bloodlust seems like a powerful combination.
I can't wait to use Hugo Strongsword as a tank. I think he'd do well. Another I'm particularly eager to see in action is Bertrol Gobson. I love the Opportunistic ability; it is one of my favorite abilities besides the healing ones. Low mana cost and speed of 3? Yup, that's a solid card.

Doubts

I don't know if this is correct but I think I overheard one of my guildmates in the tavern saying that only one gladiator can be used per battle. Is this true? Well, either way, I don't have enough gladiators to test it. I can't wait to get my hands on some more cases once I get the merits!

See you in the next brawl!
