Battle Mage Secrets - Armored Up

Good day Splinterbuddies! I hope your doing fine with the first quarter of this new year with a positive gains in your day to day life in splinterlands or in real life. Lets just keep positive! This should be my entry for this week's battle challenge.

Armored Up

All units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.
Use Void Armor to ensure that magic attacks strike armor first.
Use Shatter or Piercing to destroy your opponent's armor more effectively.

• Armored Up! Additional +2 armor buff to all monster units in the field that can add additional protection from Melee and range attacks. To cover for magic damages, you should place a Void Armor enhancement to your units or place the one with this skill. The armor will be first to be strike before the monsters life. Counter for this rulesets are Shatter and Piercing. Rust also can be a perfect counter for this ruleset.

The ruleset is:

Armored Up with 20 Mana Capacity. Ok, I am playing a Magic dealing team here coming from Earth Splinters. Why did I chose this? Simply because I want to by-pass every armor that will be added to my opponents team and directly targeting the lives of my opponents team.

• I am playing this battle with Earth Splinter mainly Magic Damage Team with Obsidian as the summoner. Since i consider it a low mana battle, I am placing Mycelic Morphoid and Fungus Fiend in front to absorb some damages. Mycelic Morphoid's thorn skill is a good reflect for incoming melee damages. Queen Mycelia, boosting another additional armor for my team so its another life saver for my monsters in the field. Goblin Psychic role here is not just healing my tank, its damage is fair enough to remove my opponents team member on the battle field. Regal Peryton's flight skill is good to dodge attacks so I am placing it in the back to face sneaks. It got descent amount of health too.

• The Battle
  
  Sheet! This is a very unfavorable situation to my team. I am facing Qoura that will be boosted by Martyr after the tanks dies. This combination is very familiar in Bronze League. lol. Lets just see how it ends.

Round 1

Fungus Flinger is dead on the spot when my Regal Peryton released its magic. How unfortunate, even though i should feel happy that i remove a member of the opponents team in the battle field, i just see a roaring Quora in the process. I love this Quora Card but hating it when facing it.

Round 2

The dominance of Quora Towershead here is showing. Every attack is really destructive because of it bloodlust ability. Its really a bad news fighting this card in low mana battle. Almost a complete card.

Round 5

Its a lost for me. Quora really took my card out every round. That power is really amazing. The battle took a little longer to finish because i got the Armored Up boost.

• Armored Up, as you play it, it got tricky sometimes. Well we cant avoid fighting a really dominant card in every ruleset but basically it can still be countered when using the right cards. But you see, luck is also part of the game specially now that card collections are getting broader in splinterlands.
