Battle Mage Secrets - Rise of the Commons

It's another week of the month passed by so the Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge is here again. Let's see what i got.

Rise of the Commons

Description:
Only common and rare units may be used in battles.
Summoners are unaffected by this rule.

• As you play with splinterlands, you will get familiar with the skills, combinations, levels and also the Card Rarities.
  This ruleset is emphasizing that you are only able to use card rarities between Common and Rare only. Forget about your overpowered Legendaries nor your one of a kind Epics. You cannot use those on this battle. With this rule, it is an advice that you should not forget this lower Rarities in you card collection or when renting cards to avoid a sure loss just because of this ruleset when you battle. That's a negative to your rating which is kind of hard to grind nowadays.

• Let us see a battle example for this rule:

The ruleset is:

Rise of the Commons with 22 Mana Capacity. And I am choosing Water Splinter for this round. Having a bit familiar playing with Water Splinter made me started to build my deck with this splinter. This battle example came from my last brawl fight so let us see what happened.

• I am playing the water splinter with Kelya Frendul as the summoner for the Armor and Speed boost. Placing Diemonshark in front for its tanking capability boasting its life and armor, I am confident for its role. From Gladius set, Relanor Cleaver with its reach ability, a perfect secondary position card that can attack and become your second tank as soon the first card losses its standing at the front. I can also say that Relanor Cleaver is worth its Mana requirements in the battle. Although it is for High Mana Capacity battle, its sturdiness is the reason i am choosing to put this card on this battle. Xenith Archer and Furious Chicken completed my team.

• The Battle

My opponent place Earth Element in the battlefield and let Lobb Lowland as the Summoner. My opponent chose this summoner to place 2 Gladius cards for this fight. And also, Lobb Lowland, debuffs speed to its opponent monsters in the field.

Round 1

First round of the fight is already heated up and also triggered the bloodlust ability of my Relanor Cleaver. My team already took down the frontal part my opponents line up with the Trample Ability being turned on on Diemonshark.

Round 2

Round 2 is where my opponents other gladius card fell. Its my Relanor Cleaver's kill so it just triggered a second level bloodlust. This is bad news for my opponent.

Round 4

This is where the fight ends. The Fungus Flinger Blind Ability cause some mishap from my teams attack and took the fight on a longer stride.

• It is really important to not neglect the rarities of the cards when you start collecting or renting them. Splinterlands is a game which shows and requires that every card or items have they're proper utilization.
