Migration to zkEVM and the Impact on Existing Contracts

src

In theory it makes sense not to be a problem.
AFAIK Being in a lootrush wallet means that in the nft contract has the owner of a given card set to that lootrush wallet address.
When they migrate I imagine they are instatiating a clone contract of the existing contract on zkevm and copying all existing data on the old contract to the new one.

Then all services using the nft just have to switch to zkevem and point to this new contract address. And because it is clone and all data is the same all should work seamingless.

Then I am just not sure what they will do to the old contract, since once a contract is on chain it cannot be removed. And they shouldnt have the ability to do it really.
So I would say old contract will still be there but it will be just worthless because no service is using it ?
does anyone knows the existing contract addresss ?

There is no smart contracts in LR or IMX X, just a database, good old AWS

Too much crypto hype. On X chain nft it's just jpg with Id and property
well on ZkEvm it's also .jpg with props, but with team of solidity dev you can build smart contract for it, let's say crafting / forging. to replace one jpg to another and change props, oh and take fee from user, All in one action, good stuff tbh but you need to pay a lot first for development as its quite a task in web3 .

Try Terracore
