Imagine Dragons! Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge

We all love dragons, mainly because they are legendary creatures with over-powered abilities and skills. In Splinterlands I am like Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains and lots of other titles. I don't win battle after battle or conquer castle after castle, but I have 3 dragons. As the challenge gives flexibility, I will use them all, one summoner and 2 monsters.

The Dragons can be green, red, black, fairy, radioactive or even demonic ... and all are accepted for this weekly battle challenge as long as they are from Draykh-Nahka. My only Dragon summoner is the Shade or Arak and I used him for all three battles I've done for this challenge. Just play, read and enjoy!

Splinterlands Dragons Battle 1 : Affliction!

Normal battle rules and the mana cap was 12 but this was enough to choose Drake of Arnak as summoner for +1 Armor to my monsters. The opponent played with the Death Splinter and the Haunted Spirit as main tank to heal and the ranged Jester in the back.

Serpentine Mystic - Caster with Affliction

Furious Chicken - Decoy

The Mystic's Affliction was the key of the game and the first time I had the Affliction gamechanger. Because the Haunted Spirit couldn't heal after being affected by the affliction, It was easier to nuke down the enemy tank. See full battle here!

Splinterlands Dragons Battle 2 : Deja-Vu!

Normal battle rules and 12 mana cap ... Deja-Vu! I choose Drake of Arnak as summoner for +1 Armor to my monsters and the same team as last battle. The opponent played with the Life Splinter and the Flesh Golem as main tank and a ranged Earth Elemental.

Serpentine Mystic - Caster with Affliction

Furious Chicken - Decoy

Shield and Flying are a super combo as the Earth Elemental never hit the Gloridax Soldier. The Flesh Golem had difficulties to strike in the air and I didn't lost a monster during the fight. See the full battle here!

Splinterlands Dragons Battle 3 : Shield Wall!

Finally a challenging battle! We had a "Last Kingdom" Shield Wall against Life Splinter. Normal battle rules and 21 mana cap gave more flexibility and could focus on overpowered damage.

Creeping Ooze - Reduce enemy speed

Furious Chicken - Decoy

The battle was evenly matched from the start and random events would make the difference. However, the Shield and Flying abilities reduced the damage enough to survive the assaults. Once the opponent tank was down, was a march for victory. Minor setbacks and a winning streak! See the full battle here!
