Bronze League Death Splinter Strategy

Death splinter is one of my favorite splinters. When you're able to cripple your opponent potientally before the match begins, then you're on the right track to victory. Thaddius brood as the summoner with at least cursed windeku's thorns and silent sha-vi's sneak ability pack a pretty good one-two punch. Add life sapper behind them with its life leech ability and you have a pretty good line-up right off the bat. You must protect silent sha-vi at all cost though and for the bronze league, I recommend putting it in the second position behind cursed windeku. If not the second position, then the third position if you can place shadow snitch in the second position, due to the cost of mana, to allow the reach ability to come into play.

Anytime you're fighting with the rules of all melee monsters have the sneak ability, then put cursed windeku as the last card, so every enemy melee character will get hit by the thorn ability attack every turn.

Now when there's only a 12 mana cap and the rules are traditional, I've had it time and time again that the match ends in a draw because I and my opponent both play thadius brood, cursed windeku and undeaded badger. To help break this trend, add either a furious chicken or corpse fiend at the end of your line-up for 0 mana each. That way your opponent's undead badger, with its sneak ability, will hit a 0 mana monster and your undead badger can take out your opponents undead badger.

If you're able, rent a level 2 or 3 cursed windeku. Level 2 gives you an extra health and level 3 gives you an extra melee attack.This can be pivotal in a match. I had it many a time that I lose by just one health and that's quite frustrating. At the writing of this post, a level 2 cost 0.45 DEC per day and a level 3 costs 5.15 DEC per day. It's probably more beneficial to rent the level 2 in bronze league, since the rate of return of DEC per match is so low.
