Welcome to another splinter-week battle challenge with the theme card 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 of the Life Element. Regardless of the mana cap necessary for battle, this monster 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 is an interesting card to have on deck, and I'll explain why shortly. The 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 is one of the Splinterlands' most sort after card for it's low mana cost in battle and also Void ability. It comes from the Life element and is a common card that costs just 1 mana to use in battle. It is a melee attack card, and I believe it pairs well with just about any Life splinter as we shall be seeing in this battle.

I am using a level 6 and this monster has a 1-melee attack, 3-speed, 0-shield and 2-health. Truth is, This Monster when compared to other monster cards may not come as impressive but it is a decent card worth having on deck. The best part is it's VOID Ability. The 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 has little tank but can cause great damage once engaged in a favourable position.

As we can see from Stats, the Regular foil 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 has just 2-speed, 1-Melee attack, 0-ranged attack, 0-magic, 0-shield, 2-health, and no ability at the start. Level 5-6, it gains an extra speed point and Void Ability. At level 9, it improves it's melee attack to 3. However, at maximum level 10, it becomes pretty decent and has 3-speed point, 2-melee attacks and 3-health.

It becomes extremely useful when it's 1-mana cost is considered. At this Levels, 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 attacks can be increased further with summoners like Mother Khala for extra health or Lorna shine for extra shield. Imagine how much damage 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 can inflict on enemy with just little mana point.

For the Market price chart 👉 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 (REGUALAR FOIL AND GOLD FOIL)

You'll see that the regular has been in demand from players, with the low price at 0.04$ and all time high at 0.11$. While for the Gold foil, this is considerably decent to buy now with least price at 0.6$ and all time high at 1.8$. You can buy or rent this card easily in-game SPLINTERLANDS or PEAKMONSTERS. Buying the gold foil now at this prize will be the wise thing for me to do as I am now shuttling between Gold & diamond league, never know how the market turns out.

To thoroughly make good use of the 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹, just level up your cards to max and also get you a gold foil😆, then battle your way up to experience it's full strength.

This was a high mana cap battle with melee attack attacking from any position. I used the Rare LORNA SHINE as my summoner who gives divine shield to all my monsters at start of battle.

STRATEGY:

This card, which grants DIVINE SHIELD, is a fascinating one. This suggests that several of the enemy strikes are likely to be ineffective. I summoned the wonderful LORNA SHINE, the most helpful summoner of the life element, to prevent appearing weak. Because his tank isn't as vast as hers, 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹, a melee attack monster, will peer nicely with her. Divine protection is essential.

STRATEGY:

In front line comes the URIEL THE PURIFIER, a whooping 11-cost unit and he compensates for that with high health, armor, and melee attacks, as well as flying ability that allow him to evade enemy, the capacity to heal himself, and the potential to redeem himself by inflicting damage on all foes after he dies. He also has the Recharge ability, which allows him to only strike every other round in battles while dealing massive damage. This card is deadly, plus can take alot of hits, and I employed it for this purpose.

STRATEGY:

Then comes the fast and furious ALMO CAMBIO, powerful even at this level considering it's 7-mana cost. Employed solely for maximum damage back at the attacker. This card I love alot and use regularly. I chose him in second position since it is an excellent anti-magic and anti-range card. I'm using a level 2 with 5-speed, 13-health, and no attack. It also has two special abilities: immunity and phase shifting. As a result, I am somewhat immune to magical attacks and will give damage to enemy range monsters when they attack him.

STRATEGY:

Next comes the theme card 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 up in third position. A regular foil Common card monster that has the void ability. Magic attack monsters got nothing on him.

STRATEGY:

In fourth is the great HIGH PRIEST DARIUS, a 10 mana cost card that is well deserving of it's rank and title. He has the Weaken ability, which reduces the HP of all the opponent's monsters, allowing the monster squad to take down those tanky monsters. High Priest Darius also has Resurrect, which can resurrect the monster in first place if it is killed before he completes the task. I have always been fascinated with this card and happy I employed him here.

STRATEGY:

LORD ARIANTHUS is my choice. The last spot was chosen primarily for its defensive capabilities. Here, I'm utilizing a level 3 with 1-speed and 8-health, as well as four abilities: shield, void, magic reflect, and thorns. I use this card a lot, and it usually performs better than expected especially in first position.

As you can see from my lineup, I attempted to provide a balance, focusing more on Tanks and damage to help support the theme card. Without further ado, let us now enter the battleground.

⚔️ROUND 1⚔️

• The Enemy came at me with the Live element, OBSIDIAN as Summoner. MYCELIC INFANTRY in first position, MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN in second, QUEEN MYCELIA in third, MUSHROOM SEER in fourth, GOBLIN PSYCHIC in fifth, and DJINN BILJKA in last position. My Enemy came ready with magic for battle. Lucky for me, 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 ability is well to void the effects.

• Round 1 started with LORNA SHINE giving all my monsters divine shield ability as expected.

• MUSHROOM SEER afflicts my monsters with -1 magic, lucky for me, I've got just one magic monster who heals himself too. No harm done.

• HIGH PRIEST DARIUS then goes on to weaken enemy monsters health too, but QUEEN MYCELIA quickly provides protection.

• 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches first attack followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN affecting it's shield. The goal is to rid all enemy monsters of their shield for maximum damage on their health.

• Round 1 ends with multiple attack on URIEL THE PURIFIER's health, bringing him to the very last life line.

⚔️ROUND 2⚔️

• Round 2 begins with URIEL THE PURIFIER now ready, heals himself and boost back health +4. Game on!

• 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches first attack followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN removing it's shield and affecting the health.

• Great assault on URIEL THE PURIFIER by MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN and DJINN BILJKA, this kills my monster. Escalated pretty quickly than I excepted😁. HIGH PRIEST DARIUS resurrects him back, but then MUSHROOM SEER launches an attack again and kills him.

• Round 3 begins with theme card ALMO CAMBIO now stepping in first position.

• 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches first attack followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN affecting the health -3. The blast effect kills enemy's monster QUEEN MYCELIA and thereby removing the protection ability from enemy monsters.

• Round 3 ends with multiple missed attacks by enemy's magic monsters on ALMO CAMBIO because of his Immune and phase abilities.

⚔️ROUND 4-5⚔️

• In Round 4 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches attack again followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN affecting the health -0 dead.

• In round 5 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches attack again followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC INFANTRY affecting it's health. The blast effect kills enemy's monster MUSHROOM SEER.

⚔️ROUND 6-8⚔️

• In Round 6 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 launches attack but misses, then followed by HIGH PRIEST DARIUS on MYCELIC INFANTRY affecting it's health -2. The blast effect enemy's monster GOBLIN PSYCHIC health -3. GOBLIN PSYCHIC goes on to kill my monster ALMO CAMBIO.

• In round 7 DJINN BILJKA launches an attack on 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 who is in first position and that kills it my theme card😩

• In round 8, HIGH PRIEST DARIUS now furious about his closest partner killed, launches a deadly blow on MYCELIC INFANTRY killing it instantly -3. The blast effect enemy's monster DJINN BILJKA killing it too.

⚔️FINAL RESULT⚔️

• 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 although held through in battle died just before it could finish. Death not in vain as there was vengeance. FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!

DO I LIKE 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 AND WHAT I WOULD'VE DONE DIFFERENTLY?

I Think I do like this monster 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹, because of it's very small mana cost of 1 and interesting Void ability. When placed in favourable position or backed by supporting monsters such as in this Battle, it is able to cause great damage and last longer in battle as we saw.

To be fair, I definitely look forward to experiencing it's max stats which can only be triggered i think from Diamond and Champion +. It has pretty decent Melee, Speed and health, that's already a slam dunk. This only demonstrates that if you play the Life splinter and whatever the mana cap, then this is a card to have on deck.

The battle was exciting to watch and I will keep seeking more ways to own, engage, but more cards and level up 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 to 10.

DID MY STRATEGIES WORK?

Yes, my strategy worked very well. It was a good lineup and strategy for this battle⚔️

Although 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 would've seen the end of battle if it was in 4th behind HIGH PRIEST DARIUS.

👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 is no doubt a decent card, and this battle challenge has surely exposed it's usefulness in battle.

😊That will be all about my weekly battle with 👹GARGOYA SCRAPPER👹 as the themed card.
