Splinterland's: Soulbound rewards card, A long-term strategy.

I resumed playing Splinterland's after a break and my ranking point reached to bronze level when I resumed playing so my last season's rewards were exclusively the Bronze chests I opened 233 Bronze chests as End of Season rewards and they just valued at 8 cents worth. Since these were Bronze chests they contained a fraction of SPS and since rewards cards are now become "Soul bound" they cannot be traded and transferred so the tangible value of the cards is now 0 though they hold value in gameplay as they are really strong cards to hold and capable of changing the results of any match.

One of the best things about these Soul bound rewards cards is that they are also dropping the Summoner cards also (except for Neutral Summonner I guess) and dropping the Summoner card really gives the lower level players to make their deck faster and these summoners can also summon a gladiator card in ranked matches and it will also make a case of utility for buying Gladius pack with merits earned in the chest as well as brawls. This will also promote interest in playing Brawls and accumulating more merits to buy gladius packs and have gladiator cards.

Seeing a card like Quora Townshead in ranked matches backed with multiple healers really changes the dynamics and equation of the match. There are so many strong Gladius cards and using them effectively in ranked matches will cause ranked matches to be evolved. The Bloodlust ability is one of the abilities that is associated with the majority of the Gladius cards but is rarely found in the normal foil cards. Using strong Bloodlust cards in the ranked matches will definitely make them more unpredictable and more fun to play the game.

Having Soul bound cards also weed out the players and bots that were looking for short-term gains instead it will promote long-term strategic thinking in the game. Long-term thinking and strategy will allow players to make a definite roadmap and keep associated with the game as in the current scenario only plying the game will yield these cards and can not be obtained by any other method. Also, I noticed (I have not been that much lucky) that players are getting dropped these cards generously in the game and few players got 3 Gold foil Legendary in a singlw daily chest and this will also keep interested the players who were playing this game to increase collection power and number of cards in their accounts.
