Splinterlands: Are you ready for upcoming Splinterland's Ranked Battle Changes?

In one of the latest announcement by Splinterland team , a lot of changes are proposed in the coming week 0f 18 July(Most probably , changes might have been place when you will be reading this. I guess I like most of the changes regarding this announcement but I feel it's impact can seen on the overall game economy instead of game play alone.

1. New Daily Focuses

I guess this will be going to be same as we used to have Daily quest earlier that was not limited to a "Splinter" quest but have snipe, sneak and "Neutral" quest. Just wondering if our quest now have opportunity ,life leech or heal ability quest in higher leagues added. Adding more quest and having quest that are not summoner specific might make it more challenging and more hard to gain quest point.

2. Every win matter.

Completing the win using focus element is absolute great but a win will also add point towards focus chest even the focus element is not used. I am actually liking this idea as I am many time faced with situation that I just need very few points to get next Daily focus chest and I lost 4-5 battles in row just to get that chest. This will definitely solve edge cases like this.

Current Focus really make game very predictable and actually it make it more of pitching the "focus" elements team disregarding the rulesets. I found the battles in which I fielded Tyrus Paladium where I knew my Alric was much better choice and my opponent also fielded Malric (and sneak peak already revealed that Malric was regular on last 5 battle too.)

I guess I will go for win in between with my best team and it will also confuse my opponent if opponent look at my last 5 team to determine my focus/team that will might further boost my win rate.

Focus Element /Splinter will not be active in every battle.

I guess focus Splinter will not be active at every battle is like throwing away my points even before the battle start, Frankly speaking I do not liked this change.

Higher number of Potions in Single chest at higher leagues.

I still remember that I got 3 potion and 2 common card in 5 Diamond chest and it really made those rewards worst then the Bronze league chests. Atleast , now I know in case of potion, I will get more potion in accordance to my league.

Anti Bot changes.

I guess most of the players are pissed by Bot and I guess below changes are antibot.

4. MERITS in rewards chest.

Since merit cannot be directly sold , so only option I guess for bot to be part of Guild and then buy Gladius pack from store and then burn it into DEC. I feel it might discourage botting as they need to be part of Guild or might be we start seeing Bot guilds and Bots playing Brawls too. (in this case God save us.)

5. Two Days rentals policy.

Rental policy will be changed that rental contract will be valid for 2 days and
I feel it is not players but bots that are dominating the rental markets , though this change will impact the players but it will discourage the bots more.

If these changes can discourages bot then I guess we can see very different tokenomics in the game and might be more rewards for the players.

I am actually interested to find , if rewards are reduced and cost to run the bot increase then how will bot responds and what will be it's effect on whole game.
