In my previous post, I was mainly focused on the gameplay mechanics of Rebellion which is going to generate a very strong positive impact on the gameplay of Splinterlands and will add many layered experiences of the player. Though the official card set characteristics will still take time to be out but sneak peek of the abilities gives a very strong positive vibe that how game is going to engaging and fun.

But we will have to wait for the Rebellion to be integrated in game to see its impact on the game but what we can readily see that how Rebellion pack sale has strengthened the DAO currently and it will provide long-term value to the Splinterlands ecosystem.

As of the current presale pack stats, 293647 packs are sold in presale, and if I consider everyone is smart enough to pay 4000 DEC + Vouchers (instead of 5000 DEC), DAO accumulated 587 million DEC and considering DEC goes to 50 cents per 1000 DEC, DAO still made more what it paid to team and at this juncture when I see DEC market despite of slow pack sale after initial days, DEC is still trading above 90 cents.

Considering the pack presale at end to pick up the pace at a later stage, DAO is going to accumulate a nice amount of DEC and I am hoping once gameplay is launched, Rebellion general sale will also sell a nice number of packs. If the Rebellion pack sale is combined with the Land Release and Land DEC burning mechanism, we are going to DEC overshoot the peg and in return, it will trigger SPS burning mechanism creating more value for the SPS.

Now if you see on DAO SPS holding as per latest DAO report , DAO hold approx 180 million SPS in staked /liquid format in all chains and have more than 20 million in pools.

SPS burning + 1 billion in DEC reserve (DAO currently has some 770 million DEC, and definitely will reach 1 Billion DEC) will make DAO very cash-rich to support development for a long time and If DAO converts this fraction into some stable like HBD then I feel DAO can be able to self sustain all the developments.

I am sure, that after Rebellion integrates in-game, Splinterland is now going to make some strong waves in Play2Earn gaming community for its gameplay as well as tokenomics.
