VULGUINE BEATING MYLOR

As I continue with my journey playing Splinterlands, I appreciate the game more and more as I go higher and higher league. Playing this game from one league to another is like playing different game over again.

With additional skills the monsters are getting as the league goes higher and they leveled up means you getting to learn them to be able to make them work effectively for you.

I am playing back and forth on silver and gold tier. I am more comfortable now playing in silver because I am used to the meta that works for it BUT I also like playing in Gold tier because of the challenge of playing with more skills that really makes you work your strategy on.

Here's one of the battle that shows how amazing those additional skills makes a difference on the game

Ruleset is LITTLE LEAGUE where you could only us 4 mana or less cards and SUPER SNEAK where all melee attack monsters gets the sneak ability.

With this ruleset it is to your advantage to have mylor as your summoner, which my opponent has. And to add to their advantage, they got Queen Mycelia to give 2 armour to their team. And for the ALL SNEAK rule, they covered their backline with Earth Elemental with heal and a good chunk of health.

Looking at their lineup it feels like I was screwed because I played all melee line up meaning I will be hurt every time I hit them. And my plan to hurt them by putting my thorn cards at the back help me not as they did not use cards to use the ALL SNEAK ruleset.

And true enough, Dhamphir Infiltrator with double sneak got killed the first round

But thankfully I chose to use Blinding Reflector that earns magic reflects at lvl 5 as my tank which gave advantage to me as they chose to play with magic cards.

And with the life leach and scavange that my cards has they were able to replenish enough heath for them to survive the rounds and get the opponent cards killed

And with the buffed of additional melee attack that I got from my summoner, Daria Dragonscale, my team was able to get the win against a mylor team. Thanks to Vulguine who scavange our way up for the win!

Most of the time I am afraid to rank up to gold because I don't have the cards to play on competitively to get a win. I am a small player building my deck slowly by investing small amounts here and there and working on the earnings I get by playing ranked battles and tournaments. I play using rented cards and cost could be a pain at times as DEC earned and chests don't always pays them right.

But I trust the game. I would love to get up higher league and experience more of these exciting battles using all these skills that squeeze my brain on how to properly strategize using them. :)

My steps my be slow but will get there. I am excited on where this game will go and trust that the developer are on the right track in doing what's best for the game!!!
