Hello everyone, this is my most ambitious entry so far for the contest.

I've been thinking about this letter for a long time and I can finally show you Old Wizard.

Lore

The following story is based on what a traveler told me before leaving Blue Harbor for other lands.
Praetoria has always existed, and it has always been engulfed in chaos.
Of course there are times where there is more peace and times where magic overflows even with flowers.
It is said that this area tends to attract many beings in search of something powerful and like every important place there is someone who takes care of it or at least takes a record of what happens.
Learn from the passage of travelers, their dreams and battles.
He is known as "The old wise wizard" or the same "Old Wizard".
He watches from afar, he almost never interferes with anyone, but if you find him in a clearing, near a hillside, don't bother him because legend has it that whatever you do to him, he will return it to you in the same way.
Don't be afraid of the "Old Wizard" but keep your distance.

Learn (The new ability)

When this Monster is attacked by an enemy, it copies all of the enemy's original stats, including abilities.

Process

1.Conceptualization.
First it was to define the character, I wanted something that can be mixed with Chaos Legion, that uses the Runes and that has a unique ability.

2.The ability.

I wanted a monster that is a wise man and a magician, but does not attack anyone if they do not provoke it.
Those who go to the mountains and to meditate and create immense power already know.

The skill I proposed is "Learn". It allows Old Wizard to learn from each attack and copy all the stats "Life, Armor, Attack (it does not matter if it is melee or any other).

After you know the skill well, study iconographic design in splinterlands. The icon was made in vectors ready to be added to the letter when the time is right.

3.The Wizard.
The hardest part, but easy to explain.

I made some sketches and this one that I show you is the one that convinced me to continue.

When drawing this sketch I included the runes as a protective shield and I thought, you must have a second ability "Divine Shield", this would give you time to learn with the first attack and be prepared, in the same way if you have a divine shield you can go through life without worries.

I started inking with no problem

As I finished inking I realized that this magician's "stick" was plenty, I decided to eliminate it and make it more like a forest whisper, with only half of the body in sight.
This makes it look better and in harmony with your flying clothes.

In this step, improve the ear and a rune that is engraved on the chest. :)

The colored fun part is coming :)

I finished shading it and before taking it to photoshop I had to do some tricks to have a card ready to put it

I finished arranging it in photoshop, I put its new ability and its stats, and voila we have the Old Wizard finished

The example card I used has low quality but I share the larger finished illustration :)

A tiring trip but i got to meet the old wizard
