Equalizer For Low Mana Monster | Splinterlands Battle Mage Secret Challenge
Battle of The Week
Here is my formation for the battle :
Going the distance : only monster with range attack are available on this match
50 mana cap: high mana cap for many combination and strategy
Splinter available : All except death splinters are available
My Lineup's Explanation :

| Summoners |  | +2 range or a shield | I choose +2 range for 2 monster to max out the damage for this battle with equal health, because there will be no monster with little health, so high damage is important here. |
| Tanker |  | - | Solid monster with decent attack and armor. Suitable low mana monster for the tank. |
| 2nd Monster |  | Rust | Important monster to reduce enemies armor by 2, so all hitter had chance to hit directly for enemies without any armor on them. |
| 3rd Monster |  | Protect | Help the team by providing armor and give some magic damage to enemies |
| 4th Monster |  | Opportunity | As the assasin to hit enemies weakest and getting the bloodlust to grow even stronger. |
| 5th Monster |  | Repair | As the complement of protect by the venari wavesmith, providing the repair for all monster that their armor got hurted. As hitter as well with +2 range damage buff . |
| 6th Monster |  | - | Another range hitter with +2 range buff. |
Crustacean as the tank with solid melee damage, and armor, followed by monster with no damage but having high armor to stand against the sniper. Venari wavesmith are on 3rd position to keep it save enough covering all team mates, while the last 3 monster are the main hitter for the game.
Does My Strategy is Worked ? :
The battle scene are also explained below:
At the end of 1st round, enemies already lose their 2nd monster as my sniper hit him with high range damage. My 2nd monster almost died as well with just 1 health point left after spammed with magic damage.
At the end of 2nd round, enemies are losing their tank and now having the regal as their tank. I think this is great because that flying monster with high speed could waste my sniper's attack with just 3 speed. On the other side, I lost my 2nd monster, and having just 1 health left with venari wavesmith.
At the end of 3rd round, Enemies lose their first range monster and just left with 3 monster left, while my team losing the venari wavesmith. 4 vs 3 situation for my team
At the end of 4th round, my tank still stand there, while my enemy just having regal peryton left, 4 vs 1 , it's clear who win this battle, isn't ?
Yap, my team win the game with 4 monster left !
My strategy worked very well, with some high range damage and opportunity + bloodlust, helped with armor from venari wavesmith.

What Should We Get :
maxing out the 6 lines up is important, even with small monster, because all enemies having same health, that means a worth decoy for enemies attack. Getting some huge hitter or damage buff is great as well, because since everyone having same health, it's more aboout who is having higher damage and eliminate enemies first. And don't forget to focus the attack and not split with too many different way of attack such as snipe + opportunity + sneak
Getting too much low damage monster with different way of attack (sneak + snipe + opportunity), is not effective on this ruleset. Spending too much mana for high mana monster and left some blank space on the lane up is bad idea as well, because that would mean you are wasting some monster as decoy.
